skorts, pedal pushers, or loose fitting slacks...something comfortable as you need swing room and will be in them for 3 to 5 hours a round...also a top that doesnt hang over too much to catch the back of the clubs or your putter as an obstruction...sweaters/sweater vests...polo shirts or something of that nature...but mainly something comfortable, also a cap, your head and face can get toasted and you wouldnt even know it till afterwards...have fun and putt well!!!

You will be doing a lot of walking and depending on where the tournament is, be ready for the elements. A nice polo shirt or a nice shirt and either shorts or capris work. No short shorts or revealing tank tops, remember that most of the time tourny's are in country clubs so keep that in mind. If this is a PGA tour event, you are not allowed in the clubhouse unless you are a member of the club where the tournament is being held or you have special access badges. Wear a hat if it is going to be sunny and bring sunglasses so you can see the ball in the air. Be quiet when the marshalls put their hands up and do not move around when a golfer is about to hit. Be respectful and enjoy the tournament.

Generally shorts or long pants or 3/4 and a polo shirt with a collar. It really depends on the course and how strict its dress code is. Try giving your local course a call and ask them what their dress code is. :)
