Sat I watched LSU and Lesticles win an exciting game in tiger stadium. Then on Sunday after watching the Saints win their 2nd game of the season I had to buy a lottery ticket. What do you think my chances are?

On football rosters some players are denoted as R for their experience and some are denoted with a 1. For instance, Brady Quinn is designated with an R meaning rookie. Next year he will be designated with a 2. Why do some players have a 1 in their years of experience instead of an R? Does it have to do with being drafted?

Tom Brady is the first QB in NFL history with over 100 QB ratings in each of his first 7 games (146.6, 123.0, 150.9, 115.7, 105.7, 129.6, 158.3). His 27 TDs are the most ever (by 5 TDs) for anyone in the first seven games of a season. He has a 137.9 season rating, 73.8 % percentage, 9.3 yards per attempt.
Randy Moss is the first WR in 56 years (and only the third ever) to have at least 40 rec, 700 yds and 10 TDs in his first 7 games (44 rec, 732 yards, 10 TDs).

People may say Marvin Harrison is the best reciever in the league but Randy Moss is in my Opinion. Did you see that insane elbow catch yesterday lol, Marvin reminds me of jerry rice they might not be the fastest or bigets but they get open and have great hands but Randy moss is Randy moss there has never been a reciever in the leaguge who is as big, fast, and who can go up and get the ball, Maybe 1 day we will be saying Calvin Johnson reminds us of randy Moss

I really don't care one way or another, just an easy 2 points, you're chance to use your pathetic sence of humor, or just get in the running to 10 points.

How much longer will it be until purdue can go up against the best like ohio state? how much longer until another drew brees comes along at purdue. I remeber in 2000 when we beat ohio state and brees threw a 60 yard bomb to beat em. How long until that happens again? When will be be one of the best again?

Is it just because of the addition of Moss?

If the Colts had gotten Moss, would they be just as good?

Is there any particular phrase or point they repeat that drives you crazy?

For me this season, it has to be when they talk about getting the ball to a given player "in space". First off, "in space" is pretty vague. Secondly, isn't the goal always to get the ball to a guy "in space" so that he has room to do more? It seems to come up somewhere every day now.

Any others that bother you in particular?

People kept saying "It's too early to tell" or giving a lame argument for LaDainian Tomlinson or Peyton Manning....look, Brady has 11 TDs in the last two games alone...27 on the season puts him on pace to break Manning's record...he's easily going to get over 40 TDs pending an injury to him or one of those two top receivers (Moss and Welker).

Is anyone still willing to argue for somebody else?

(No, I'm not a Patriots fan...clearly)

Do they really think if they were to say "The New York Giants taking on the Washington Redskins......" Do they really think people are going to be scratching their heads going "duh, the NY Giants baseball team from the 1920s are playing the Redskins NFL team in 2007?"

Does anyone else not think it's funny or cute??? Anyone else think it's stupid and pointless?

Here is a proposal that would change the way college football is played. Instead of having the 12 D1A conferences that we have now we break them up into conferences that are divided north to south just like the time zones. So for example Ohio State and Michigan would be in the same conference as Bama, Georgia and Georgia tech, the Vols, and Kentucky, and we could just go down the line all the way to the west coast. Some parts of the nation would have more schools than others. So we take what is left over and mix them with the independents for their league play. The teams left out of the north to south conferences would rotate and be by chance only. on a yearly basis

It would eliminate powder puff conferences to an extent and teams like Ohio State wont be able to run the table as the SEC talent would be broken into four or more conferences.
