Tom Brady is the first QB in NFL history with over 100 QB ratings in each of his first 7 games (146.6, 123.0, 150.9, 115.7, 105.7, 129.6, 158.3). Just for some comparison, here are Peyton Manning's numbers through his first 7 games of the record breaking 2004 season:
117 QB rating
65.0 %
22 TDs, 4 INT (Brady has just 2)
2164 yards

Okay, for some ppl who r confused, I wasn't implying they are the best ever, that would be ridiculous only 7 games in. I'm saying the best in the league right now. Sorry for the miscommunication.

watch steve young-jerry rice, might not have had as many TD's as manning-harrison, but they had the best chemistry, no doubt brady-moss will be legendary...but not the greatest

This may surprise you, but there are people in Minnesota that still think Randy Moss isn't a good player and wouldn't want him back because they think he'll upset the chemistry of the team and how he'd harm Tavarus Jackson. (Ha ha ha!)

Those stats should be enough to shut them up. Randy Moss should not have EVER been a Patriot or a Raider and the Pats are lucky that Randy Moss played for a media market that is notorious for trying to shuttle away good players and coaches because they don't act like passive wimps like Brad Childress, Tavarus Jackson, and Troy Williamson.

Nice guys always finish last, and Moss is a total antithesis of a "Nice Guy".

i guess there will be nobody that can say that brady doesnt have as much skill as manning after this year. I always thought that if he got some good recievers he would have amazing stats, but they never got him those players. Moss will tear up defenses like he did against Miami, Having Brady actually throw TO him when he was double covered. when your best bet on a completion is throwing to the guy that is double covered, then that is when u know u r good. Welker is doing very well also. Brady will hopefully break mannings record this year.

Yes, Randy Moss is the best and most athletic/talented receiver of all time, and him paired with Tom Brady is making for an epic season. tom brady also went to Serra HS in the bay area so they are the best. the end

They are both amazing football players. Randy Moss is on my fantasy football team and has helped me a lot. Tom Brady has also been doing a great job throwing to his receivers including Randy, of course. The are one of the best arsenals in football ever.

by pure numbers, yes. Only thing I have against the best ever arguments (and thats not just for this one, but all) is that there are so many variables, it is hard to tell. Are Brady and Moss truly better than Montana and Rice for instance? Since we can't scientifically compare them...and the advances in training and football in general, it would always be academic.

They are the best tandem playing in this generation of football, that much we can say for sure.

It's only their first year together. At this point, I'd still give the nod to Joe Montana to Jerry Rice over Brady to Moss. You still have to win a championship multiple times over to compete with Montana-Rice but the time could come if they keep playing like this.

Manning to Harrison is the best.

To compare them with Manning-Marvin, they would need about 7 seasons like this one. And I think they're already on the wrong side of the 30s.

People like Harrison, Rice and Reed always produced and gave his best effort no matter how bad their teams were playing.

Despite Brady said he does not care about the records, he is apparently trying too hard to break them. Instead of giving the ball to his running backs when he had a huge lead in the last couple of games, he kept throwing and risking his WR to unnecessary njuries.

Even if he breaks Manning records, Brady will be like 100 TDs and 15000 yards behind Peyton, and only 1 year younger.

If the numbers were the only criteria, Joe Montana would just another good quarterback (his career QB rating is 92.3)
Is Brady (or anybody else) is better than Montana?
As for quarterback to receiver combination, it's a little too early to tell (how can you even compare a quarterback and a receiver who played together for 10 years to a pair who played 7 games?!)

so that makes farve a sore loser as well because he refused to go too?? I do believe its the players choice to go or not go! How many giants are going to the pro bowl thats right just one while the Pats have six others in it and two thats declined so what is your problem how does that make the pats sore losers if six others will be there to represent the patriots
