Last Saturday night the Cowboys were awarded a first down at the Seattle 1-yard line with about 1 minute to play and then the referees reversed their decision after review. Do you think Dallas got the first down or not?

I don't think the Cowboys would've won the Super Bowl this year because they were playing lousy the last 5 weeks. But we'll never know because the ref blew the call, in my opinion.

When I saw the play live it looked like he got right to the first down marker. When I saw the replays it was still too close to call. The goal line camera looked like he was stopped short, but that angle was decieving. The other angles looked like he got farther.

Referees usually don't like to reverse their decisions. They aren't supposed to reverse their decisions unless there is "conclusive evidence". There was no such evidence on that play.

It would've been great to see what happened next. Seattle may have laid down so Dallas could score. What would Dallas have done?

Who do you think will end up coaching in Oakland? Do you think any top-level candidates (Coughlin [if he gets fired], Mora, Whisenhunt, Morninwheg, etc.) will consider the job considering the rep Al Davis has for meddling, and the state of the offense? Will they promote Buddy Ryan? Or will they take someone else's castoffs like Dennis Green or Jim Fassel?

i m a vikings fan til i die; so i don't really pay much attention 2 the rest of the nfl. but i have been made aware (by press resources) that the cowboys pretty much collapsed (like a flan in a cupboard) in the regular season. but yet they get ino the playoffs. yes i m a "hater" because i know "the boys" r the brats of the nfl; they get what ever they want when they want it. & they prove it when they sign players like TO & bledsoe. they r also brats & they have something 2 prove. they r very good ball players & perhaps the best. but the only problem is "they know it". they will not play 2 the best of their ability until their career counts on it.

so what i m saying is; they did not deserve a playoff chance. and i m not saying my beloved vikes did. but there were other teams much more deserving; like the "packers" ect...
