I'm rooting for Florida tonight because Ohio State's athletic director is one of the main opponents to a playoff. Besides if Florida wins Boise State we be the only undefeated team. That'll be one more argument to have a playoff.

Some of you will say that congress can't do this, but congress can make any laws that it wants and if they aren't constitutional they can even propose amendments. Plus they've got federal tax dollars to hammer the schools with. The question isn't can it be done. The question is should it be done.

In an unbiased world it should look like the following. . .
(1) Ohio State
(2) LSU
(3) Wisconsin
(4) Boise State
(5) USC
(6) West Virginia
(7) Michigan
(8) Florida
(9) Oklahoma
(10) Auburn

Notice I put Michigan ahead of FLorida. . this is because they both got pounded in their bowl games (well. . florida will get pounded) and Michigan SHOULD HAVE been ahead of Florida to end the regular season but Urban Meyers crying got him into the title game. Notice also. . no Notre Dame here. . . Notre Dame NEVER deserved to be in the top 25 ALL SEASON!!! HOW THE HELL DID THET GET TO #2 at one point???!!! UNFRIGGENBELIEVABLE!!!!!! Anyhow. . in reality. . after the top 4 or 5 you could put them in any order. even USC who looked like the #2 team against michigan. . has 2 losses to unranked teams at the time so they are a bit of a jeckyl and hyde!! It will be interesting to see how HYPE U. (Notre Dame) starts next season. . army, navy and air force might all beat them next year!!!

A week later and people are still buzzing about the Boise State game......People are still wanting to discuss it.......I kind of wonder if it will be as good a game as last years......I loved when Texas outplayed the hell out out of USC. Im a champion for the underdogs so I'll be rooting for the Gators......

Ohio State or Florida?

Right now, espn.com is running a poll about what people think is the biggest blunder in playoff football history. I have trouble believing it can be anything but Kasay's kickoff. Norwood's kick was tough, he had to kick it between 2 poles spaced 18 and a half feet apart through the air. Kasay had to keep it on the freaking field, which is 160 feet wide! And he couldn't even do that. He says "Here, Tom Brady. Please start your drive 25 yards away from field goal territory. I want you to win." And who ever said holding the snap is any easier than actually snapping the ball? Romo made a terrible play, but it wasn't the worst ever.
