THE MVP? Peyton Manning is the QB of the year so besides him I will say Its a toss up between Freeney with the most sacks, Sanders with the most interceptions, Addai because he can get some awesome yards, or Vinatieri because he will continue to rule the field with those 3 pointers!!!??

So what do you think about the superbowl? Stats? Score? MVP?

The NFL only pays $162 a month to retired players according to Mike Ditka. (ON YAHOOS SPORT PAGE RIGHT NOW) Yet it takes in over 800 million dollars a year in revenue, every year and uses the retired players highlights to make even more money but pays those players nothing extra.

Does anyone think this is right to use then discard the heros of the NFL?

I know most people wont care but man the people running the NFL are crooks..what do you think? Go read the Yahoo article and it will make you think about how greedy the people who run the NFL are/

Rasheed Davis is the wide receiver for the Bears. He did not play high school football. The bears picked him up, and he was working at Best Buy. He played arena football. Does anyone know if he played any college football?

Begin with the fact that he is unequivocally peerless at his position. We can debate the best RB or QB. We can't debate the best WR.
Add the also peerless overall postseason performances, including the 215 yard Super Bowl MVP marvel.
But more than anything, it may be the cumalitive yards and touchdowns.
No one has punched it into the end zone more than Rice, it's not even close.
Similarly, no one has gained more yards from scrimmage.
22,895 career yards and 197 touchdowns. To put that in perspective, the next highest in both categories is Emmit Smith, with 18,355 and 164 TDs, a gap it would take 4 productive SEASONS to close. Incredible, especially when you consider that top backs typically amass more yards and touchdowns every season.
Last interesting fact, in the strike shortened 1987 season, Rice scored an impossible 22 TDS in ONLY 12 games!! If it was a full season, Tomlinson would have been gunning for Rice's record this year.

Here's mine:

Colts 27
Bears 23

Dallas Clark MVP. Although Peyton Manning will have just under 350 yards and 2 tds. He will have a pick that will be returned for a TD. Dallas Clark will have 8 rec for 185 yds and 2 tds.

Mine is # 32 Packers and Broncos . Elway's first ring and he had to win it in the 4th quarter. Packers were a 14 point favorite in that game.

Finally we come down to it at last...the pinacle of talent, the reason why we watch the regular season.... THE SUPERBOWL. I know it has been a long season and my favorite team (Jets) have been eliminated, but i personally believe that the Colts will win, not because they have the best quarterback in the NFL, nor because they have the second best defense in the superbowl (ha ha ha), but because Rex Grossman can not throw the ball. Sure, the Bears have an incredible defense, but you can't win the Superbowl on defense alone.

I have my money on the Colts.
