The higher seed (best record or division winner) always plays the lowest seed remaining. So, no the Bears couldn't have drawn the Eagles. The Eagles were the #3 seed, Seattle #4 (because they won the West) and Dallas was #5. The Bears would have played NY (#6) had they won

It has to do with the remaining teams left in the NFC playoffs. The Bears were 13-3 and the number one seed. The Seahawks have the worse record of the remaining playoff teams at 9-7. Both the Eagles and Saints were 10-6 but the Saints beat the Eagles during the regular season so they get home field for next weeks game! That's it! Hope that clears things up for you.

The Seahawks play the Bears becaust the Seahawks were seeded lower than the Eagles based on their records. The Eagles were seeded No. 3, so they cannot play the Bears unless they beat the No. 2 team. Even if Dallas had won, the Eagles would have played the Saints because the Cowboys were also lower seeded than the Eagles.

Per the previous answers, it's based on seeding. The Bears and Saints are the #1 and #2 seeds respectively. The Bears play the lowest remaining seed (Seahawks) and Saints the next lowest remaining seed (Eagles). The Eagles were seeded #3 in the NFC going into the playoffs.

It is all based on the seeding in the playoffs. The higher seeds play the lower seeds, and after every round, the teams are re-seeded.
So the Seahawks play the Bears because they are the lowest seed remaining in the playoffs and the Bears are still the #1 seed. If the Giants had won last night, they would be playing the Bears because they were a lower seed than Seattle, and Seattle would be playing the Saints.
Hope that helps...

The Seahawks are to bruised & crushed as much as defeat the Bears. jointly as the Bears protection is over rated, that's good adequate to shrink the scoring of any vast factors. Grossman has discovered his lesson & will return to the fast passes & the bears will run plenty extra. The Bears will win 27-10
