Of course some candidates won't want the job or won't want to leave their own program/position, but who do you think the Tide should target?

Yesterday during the Titans-Giants game Kiwanuka had Vince Young in his grasp for what would have been a game ending sack on fourth down for all intents and purposes, for reasons unkown he released him and he scampered for 19 yards. Following the Titans scored and went on to win the game. Does this just make you sick??

USC will be 8-1 in their conference playing teams with a combined record of 54-51. Florida will be 8-1 in their conference playing teams with a combined record of 71-38. For everyone focused on USC's out of conference schedule, their conference schedule makes up 75% of their games, so in turn its 3 times as important.

USC's big wins:

Nebraska - lost to Oklahoma St. and Texas, who have not been very good this year, only win over top 25 team is over Texas A&M, not impressive.

Notre Dame - smoked by both Mich. and USC, only ranked team they beat was Penn State...not impressive.

California - DRILLED by Tennessee, game was over in 1 half. Also beaten by USC and ARIZONA...hasnt beaten anyone worth mentioning, not impressive.

Arkansas - starting RB/QB were both out for well over half of the game and their backups had 4 turnovers between them, this is USC's only real impressive win.

Florida has beaten LSU (#5) and Tenn. (#16) and if they beat Arkansas (#9) thats much

Check this out and tell me what you think:
Week 2 of the BCS, USC is #3.
Week 3 they lose to an UNRANKED Oregon State(Who UCLA beat 25 - 7) and drop JUST 5 spots to seven.
In just TWO weeks(with games against (UNRANKED)stanford & (21)oregon) they're back up to the #3 spot!?!?!?

Now does that seem kind of unfair and lopsided?

I have hearing about the kid for weeks and finally was able to see him in action against USC? I thought he played smart and I loved how mobile he seemed to be. His 60 yard run was impressive and what first comes to mind when I think of his talent.

the Patriots have the ability to beat anyone in the NFL if they reduce their turnovers, so let's not dwell on them, especailly Pittsburg Fans (CHOKE!!!!!)

I thought he should have let the team go for it on fourth and inches instead of kicking the field goal. I think they would have gotten it and been able to at least take more time of the clock. IT was maddening. The niners should have won that game.

Personally, im a michigan fan, but i think that florida should be in before USC. Florida lost to Auburn at Auburn, while they lost to Oregon st. See a difference?? They play in the pac-10 while they play in the SEC. Can anyone give a valid reason why they should be in, and dont say because they beat notre dame cause even Joe montana knew they were gonna get stomped in that game

is there anyone out there who can offer some REAL analysis about whether or not the current rankings are what they should be or not?
there are way too many michigan & florida fans claiming that the rankings are BS, but none of them have come up with any STRONG arguments on why the rankings should not be what they are.
doesn't everyone know that the BCS rankings are determined more than just who a team loses to?

who thinks that MOST (not all) michigan fans and florida fans are a bunch of crybabies who can't offer up any REAL ANALYSIS? you are all just jealous because your team is not #2.

i'm sick of hearing:

1. USC lost to unranked oregon state
2. florida plays a "tougher" schedule
3. michigan would have beaten ohio state if they played in michigan

look everyone, it is what it is...
