Clearly you are not from Chicago nor have you ever watched a Bears game. I have watched every game this season, and I am always amazed at how Urlacher is in on almost every tackle. They man moves so fast. No matter what side a running back chooses to run to, Ulracher is there. There is no way he is overrated. In fact, I think ESPN has to stop talking about T.O. so much and start talking about how we are watching one of the top 10 linebackers EVER in the history of the NFL.

He is a fantastic linebacker. He can run sideline to sideline like no other, and couples that with ferocious hitting. Urlacher is terrific at dropping back into coverage, a must for the "Bear-Two" defense the Bears run. He makes all the calls for the league's best defense, and has been doing so for years. Along with Mike Brown, he is the heart and soul of the Bears defense. No way is he overrated.

I can totally understand T.O. and i agree but brian urlacher that is just plain wrong. There are countless times that brian urlacher has saved the game and won a game that in technicality they should have lost. Why? Because he NEVER gives up no matter how far up or how far down they are in score he plays the same way everytime. The guy plays for the love of the game and has pure passion. And to top it off he is modest and he is not one of those loud mouth cocky players.overall the best player in the nfl!

Urlacher is the ipity of a great linebacker. If you talk about the hardest working defensive players you will have to mention Urlacher. He is soon to be in the pro bowl and the hall of fame. You should watch the Bears and Cardinals and then tell me he is overrated.

Come on, lets be serious here.
Even though Tom Brady torched the crap outta him, he still got 7 tackles and 4 assists. He gets 8 or 9 such tackles or assists per game, and hes got a couple picks. And when he's not tackling he's filling holes cause hes friggin huge.
No way is he overrated.

He is a great linebacker on a great D, and he would stand out more on a really cruddy one. He is the glue of that defense, and will probably be a Hall of Famer. If anything, he is underrated as a great linebacker for a long period of time in a physically demanding sport.

I think he isn't. He is great at dropping back into zone coverage in the Cover Two that Chicago plays and tackles like very few in this league.
