Yeah keep going by what the computers say College Fan. If I'm not mistaken didn't those same computers have Rutgers at #1 at some point? What do those computers have Oregon State ranked as? You remember them right? The team that beat USC...I guess you have forgotten that.
Ohio State is going to beat the crap out of USC. Let's see USC try and rush four on Ohio State's offensive line like they did ND and take out Smith, Pittman and/or Wells and see how badly they get gashed. Then when USC tries to compensate by putting 6 or 7 in the box...the WR's for Ohio State are going to go long and often.
If you need a history lesson, just see how well it worked for Michigan.

Ohio State will be playing USC the Number 2 team in the country.
They have now demolished Notre Dame ,Arkansas,Nebraska,Oregon,And Cal all ranked teams. By average of 23 points .If you go to Sagarin computer Rankings USC has no.3 Strength of schedule ranking compared to OU no 36 strength of schedule.And yes the PAC 10 has No. 1 Conference Ranking.Big 10 Is ranked 4th.OU is 4-0 Vs. Top 30 opponents(yes 4 only) USC is 8-1(yes 9 top 30 opponents).OU is as front runner as it gets a good football team laced with all american seniors i will give you that.But not so fast before you get fitted for those bling rings the numbers dont lie.And by January 8Th you will have not played at game speed for over 50 days.USC will have beaten 2 top 10 teams and a cross town Rival.Our young guns have been growing week in and week out peaking like only Pete Carroll knows how.Ask Oklahoma about that after a 70 burger was hung on them in 2004.I know OU is good and it will be a hell of a game and you just might get more than you bargained for.Sure you dont want a Michigan Rematch ?

personally, i think michigan would beat ohio state on a neutral field, but that really doesn't matter. a rematch is just a FANTASY.
the reality is that USC is earning the right to challenge ohio state for the national championship.
it's gonna be a great game; and not a blow-out either way. i'm hoping the trojans win and establish that they are NOT OVERRATED. they are the real deal and will prove it!

If USC beats UCLA then USC will go to the National CHampionship. If Fordia destoys Arkansas in the SEC championship then they might have a chance. If USC loses and Flordia doesn't destroy Arkansas then MIchigan will go.
