Even with the new stadium, Tigers fans stopped pouring money into tickets when the Tigers looked so bad the last few years. Lions fans attend no matter how lousy the team is doing. (I love my lousy Lions--always have, always will, But I don't pay money to see them) Do you think a boycott would improve the management????

I just got into football last year, and I love it now. I'm trying to start a league at work - one dept. against another. I'm 5'4 and weigh 120 lbs. I'm a team player at work, and I love the idea of being an offensive lineman so I can shove the hell out of people so my team can score. Why do people laugh at me?

Does your team have a great player that isn't very well known outside of your town?
I'm picking Shaun Phillips for the San Diego Chargers, he gets overshadowed by Merriman in the press, but I've never seen a linebacker move like he does. He had 4 sacks coming into todays game, and picked up 2 more today.

So who is it for your team?

Personally, I'm a fan of both players. But which way would you go? Brees is proven, he knows how to win, puts up good numbers every week, but has never really been considered "elite" and probably won't get any better. Rivers is taller, moves better, has a stronger arm, is more accurate, and so far is playing better than any quarterback in his fifth start has a right to. But that's just it, he's only in his fifth start. So would you go with a proven good player, or a young player with the potential to be great?

With Michigan finally in place for the #2 slot, and the Buckeye v. Wolverine game only 4 weeks away, the rest of the season doesn't look like so much. Still, Michigan does have to play Iowa which is the one potential upset.

USC is gonna drop down especially after last week's showing. They don't have Leinart or Bush either, so there's nothing making them look like they deserve to challenge the numero uno team anyway. If Florida won this weekend, then we'd have something to worry about, but they're done.

So I guess the real question is, does anyone think that OSU and Michigan WON'T face off in the Rose Bowl?

The New Orleans Saints are 5-1.

Will the Saints continue this winning trend deep into the season and actually contend?

Or, will we see them stumble and once again become an also ran?

Thoughts.......
