With Michigan finally in place for the #2 slot, and the Buckeye v. Wolverine game only 4 weeks away, the rest of the season doesn't look like so much. Still, Michigan does have to play Iowa which is the one potential upset.

USC is gonna drop down especially after last week's showing. They don't have Leinart or Bush either, so there's nothing making them look like they deserve to challenge the numero uno team anyway. If Florida won this weekend, then we'd have something to worry about, but they're done.

So I guess the real question is, does anyone think that OSU and Michigan WON'T face off in the Rose Bowl?

Yes only if USC loses before then.
The bcs likes usc over Michigan.
Michigan is the more complete and better team than USC. Right now it looks like USC wiull have to lose to Oregon on 11/11 in order for Michigan to move up otherwise it'll be too late They play Cal on 11/18 and ND the week after that. So it'll be too late. Will it be OSU vs MICH 1vs 2 no. Should it be? Yes.

The loser of OSU vs. Michigan will be eliminated from the championship game. Strength of schedule is going to become an issue for Big 10 teams this year. The loser will likely fall several places in the BCS computer rankings. The winner may actually go in as #2 in the poll even if they are undefeated. The initial rankings released today show a very narrow differential in the top 3 or 4 teams.

If there's justice in the world, the BCS championship game should feature these two powerhouse Big Ten teams. It won't be in the Rose Bowl, though--the game is scheduled to be held at the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona. Many Big Ten and Pac 10 fans mourn the loss of their traditional New Years Day game in beautiful Pasadena, and look forward to the demise of the BCS system.

Okay, first, go Bucks!!

O-H!!

Second, yes, the Big Ten will have a 1,2 game on Novmber 18 and the Buckeyes will destroy them.

Third, the National Championship game is in Glendale, Arizona, which is the Fiesta Bowl, not the Rose.
