As I said to someone else...they def. can but right now NO ONE in the NFL can beat the Bears if they play like this. They are amazing. #1 in offense, #1 in defense...thats just amazing. But with Steve Smith it shows that the Panthers are such a diff. team and Steve Smith means as much to the Panthers as Manning does to the Colts (maybe more). 0-2 w/o him, 4-0 with him...thats amazing. He is avg. 112.5 ypg since his return (450 yards in 4 games), thats #1 in the NFL this season. Thats on pace for almost 1600 receiving yds in 14 games...LOL thats ridiculous that MVP numbers...and IMO he is easily top 3 in MVP candidacy so far...crazy.

Are they better than New Orleans? Probably. They may be able to beat N.O. out for the playoffs. But can they handle Chicago? That's a resounding NO right now, if Chicago stays healthy, they go to the Superbowl for the NFC. But check back when it gets closer to the end of the season, becuse you never know who's going to get the injury bug.

Go Panthers! If everyone stays healthy, Carolina will win the Super Bowl.

WE NEED A DEFENSE BEFORE I SAY WE CAN DO IT....It's a pathetic turn around from last season.....I'll be cheering the whole way for the Panthers but I'm not sure our defense can handle some of the teams on our schedule at this rate, they need to step up.

their D is still a bit porous, and if teams can stop their big plays then it could become an issue. plus u r in the NFC and Da Bears seem to have the top position for now.
