The problem is not the QB. First and foremost is the O line. Two vets at tackle, two rookie guards, and a second year center. The tackles are pretty good, but have to take up the slack for the rookies (real or perceived), so they don't get their own job done. Second is the damned zone blocking scheme. It always takes time to teach a team a new way of playing the game.
I won't even go into the defensive secondary!!!! That part is just screaming for a serious personnel change..... everywhere!

If it weren't for that damn streak, I think you'd already see Aaron Rodgers working into the game plan.
I love Brett and all, but I wish the Packer brass had the cojones to have released him or talked him into retiring in the offseason so Aaron Rodgers could get some seat time.
But the way Brett's been reacting to some of these losses, I have a really hard time believing he'd come back anyway.

I think that they should have went to the future at the beginning of the season. I lost a lot of respect for Brett when he held the team hostage while he made up his mind to play or not. after all of the headlines, look at the team. The front office should have taken control of the team, not Brett. Trying to recapture a past is a hard, hard thing to do. At some point you got to say hey Brett, time to turn it over to the youngsters. If hes man enough he'll stick around as a back up and teach the youngsters how to be as great. Lets hope hes man enough also to realize that he has to know when its time to step down. Leave a good taste in your fans mouth, not a sour one. tahts what I always say. He'll step down for sure at the end of the season.

I will be very surprised if BF is a Packer for the entire season. I think the Pack will trade him while they can still get something for him (if they can - I don't think he will play any longer). He's still a great QB, but if you don't have time in the backfield to look for a receiver, how are you supposed to throw an accurate pass to anyone?
Give them a few years, and they will again become a worthy compeditor. Thank God for free agency and the draft. . .

The solution was to start rebuilding this year and get rid of Farve. I wouldn't let him come back for next year if I was them.

No chance.. I find it funny that people on ESPNEWS and SC still bring it up questioning if he will be back or not next year. Look at him.. He's been completely destroyed this year.. Terrible year for him.. all the drama he's been through. I KNOW that he will not be back next year. Theres just no way. He's defeated, and you can tell he's done.
