And if they do, who else thinks Floyd Landis is the freakin miracle man? He is like the most inspirational guy ever. Plus, he's not a cocky asshole or an unfaithful husband like his predecessor.

I have a brand new road bike, and after i changed the tube after a flat, the brakes started sqeaking. I thought it might be the angle that the brake pad[s] was hitting the rim, but i con't seem to fix it.

I like to ride my bike w/ my friends and sometimes we race. I have a mountian bike and I have a slow takeoff. Is there anyway to improve my acceleration without shifting gears because they are messing up?

Especially when on a road where passing them is impossible due to hills or curves. WHY do they think it's okay to slow traffic to a crawl for miles on end? The ones who are all dressed alike apparently training for something are the worst. They won't get over for anything, even with a line of traffic 30 cars long (no, I am not exaggerating!) being stuck behind them for over 45 minutes (again - not exaggerating)!

Why do you suppose so many American drivers are so incredibly rude and inconsiderate to cyclists? Even going to so far as to throw objects at riders as they pass by.
Personally I've had:
Liquid (?) thrown on me.
Had several attempts to force me off the road. (One successfull)
Had verbal abuse yelled.
Had several people stop and want to fight me.
Had cars vere around and cut in front only to stop directly at the light just ahead.
Been called a f-a-g. (go figure this one???)
Been honked at from just behind. (This one will get your heart rate up)

Most men I've asked definitely prefer the women's bikes with no crossbar. Bicycles do not need to to be gendered, especially not for adults. Any reason why they still are?
