It seems very weird ( wink wink , we all know what it's about ) that everybody is fixated on Barry Bonds. What about Mcguire and Sosa ( he was much bigger then Bonds ) having asteriks next to their names in the record books. Why was Tyson never tested with all his anger issues and musclarity during his rise to the top. I hope him having white trainers and handlers( getting paid big )back then didn't play a role in people turning a blind eye ( wink wink ).

What's the big thrill in watching two people beat each other to a pulp? I think it's disgusting.

Im interested to see if Barrera and Morales can make on to any of these lists, ahead of Chavez, Lopez, Olivares, Canto, Sanchez or Zarate, i would say it is close.

watched a documentary in which someone who was close to him said that the beating he took in his last years in the ring caused the brain trauma that led to Parkinson's disease. His fights against a young Leon Spinx and a punishing Larry Holmes probably hastened the onset of Parkinson's. He fought when his career should have been over. He had a large entourage that needed him to keep fighting. Should there be a overseeing body of boxing officials that determine when a fighter is past his prime.

On Nov 10, the washed -up (and I'm being kind) Evander Holyfield is fighting Fres Oquendo.
This will be on PPV at a cost of $44.95.

Do not buy this fight.

It is time for the boxing public to put or collective foot down. This mismatch should not be happening, but now that it is, it should be on Friday Night Fights. If that.

PPV is out of control, and it's hurting the sport of boxing. Promoters and TV networks have come to the cynical realisation, correctly, that if they market any garbage properly, that there will be enough suckers out there to buy it.
Even if it's to watch a 43 year old man chase a dangerous fantasy and put his health at risk.

Folks, you're being taken advantage of and it's hurting everybody. Every time someone shells out money for this kind of crap, it gives the powers that be the green light to charge more money for the next mismatch.

If not for the good of boxing, do it for Evander Holyfield.
Don't be complicit in his self - destruction
