If the question is who's the best heavyweight of all time..without a doubt,Ali. Larry Holmes would be my second choice. Those guys could control the fight with their jabs. Tyson and the guys were tough..but Ali and Holmes(prime version, not the old one that fought Mike)simply would have boxed circles around Tyson and the boys. Remember Buster Douglas used boxing skills to frustrate a "prime" Mike. Ali and Holmes had about 100 times the skill of Buster. Think about it. I like Tyson, and think he would have had a much better career had he not spent time in prison. He probably would have won many of the fights he later lost. When Cus D'Amato passed...Tyson lost his mentor.

The publisher of "The Ring" magazine once said Jack Johnson was the best of the modern heavyweight champs, i.e. since Marquess of Queensberry rules replaced London Prize Ring rules. I suppose some people will say Cassius Clay. (I refuse to use Black Muslim names, because their founder said Whites are devils. Such racism shouldn't be allowed.) Clay said he was "The Greatest", but why should anyone believe him? The fact that many people do say he was the best boxer shows the effectiveness of the "Big Lie". Recall who started that? A poll of experts rated the heavyweight champs as follows: 1. Jim Jeffries, 2. Jack Johnson, 3. John L. Sullivan, 4. Jack Dempsey. 5. Gene Tunney, 6. Rocky Marciano, 7. Jim Corbett, 8. Jim Braddock, 9. Max Baer, 10. Cassius Clay. I'd like to be able to call back all of the champs in their primes and have a tournament. I'm sure that Clay would have his hateful jaws broken many times.

I hate tyson but how in the world could you say anyone would beat this guy when he was in his prime. Just amazing. Ali would dance like he does but not to play mind games over tyson but because he was afraid.

i imagine Alexandra has a really reliable voice and her performance of Hallelujah replaced into in a diverse type to the JLS version. i imagine thats why she received. Her tears and omg's were slightly severe yet she replaced into stuck up in an emotional adventure and he or she remains youthful. i wish she is going some distance. i trust that JLS will actually have a astounding destiny and that i want them properly.

Jack Dempsey or James Braddock. They'd been at the bottom and didn't want to see it again. I wouldn't fight someone so desperate to survive.

To garret b (AKA a**hole) That poll you are talking about was done in 1965. So if this poll is correct then Lyndon Johnson is still president.
