In a street fight Tyson would win and in a twelve rouned pro fight i think Tyson would probably win. Ali stuggled against Frasier in the fights they had, who was similar to Mike in size and style but wasn't as good as Tyson was in my opinion.

The longer we as boxing fans dwell on Mike Tyson when he was a teenager in the mid-80's as still a major topic in 2006, the whole sport gets hurt and sits on idle.
Imagine if everytime the major leagues were brought in a converstaion, 50% of the time the topic was the 1986 New York Mets winning the world series? It makes for bad converstaion to say the least.
Lets all let go of the Mike Tyson comments and answers. The sport has so many young stars and other things to talk about....

If Ali (Cassius Clay) substitute into 22 youthful and in his top and Tyson 20 in his top, it relatively is how the combat would pass. First 3 rounds....Tyson comes out firing with each and every punch he's familiar with yet Ali makes use of his footwork to steer away from to majority of Tyson's punches. Ali lands some jabs. Rounds 3-6.....Tyson is transforming into pissed off with Ali's unbelieveable velocity and stressful chin. Tyson is placing out to decelerate somewhat from throwing and lacking maximum of huge punches. Now Ali has his variety discovered and is placing out to hit Tyson often with an outstanding variety of jabs and additionally some a million-2 punches. Rounds 6-9.....Tyson is amazingly pissed off. Ali's punches at the instant are coming in bunches as he's hitting Tyson with 3 and four punch mixtures. Tyson is drained from lacking maximum of huge punches early contained in the combat. Tyson isn't waiting to maintain up with Ali's stamina and is overwhelmed via his capability and velocity (the two hand and foot). The few huge punches Tyson has landed does not look to section Ali. Rounds 9-12.....Tyson is exhausted. His eye or eyes are swollen very almost thoroughly close. he takes a beating and being thoroughly out boxed. The combat is stopped contained in the 11th or 12 around by using a TKO. Ali has surely no problem prevailing this combat. Who did Tyson ever beat that variety into great? no person. whilst did Tyson ever come from at the back of? by no potential. Tyson beat frequently all bums early in his profession or perhaps lost to Buster. Later Tyson substitute into schooled via Holyfield on a similar time as he substitute into nevertheless extremely youthful. Ali fought better combatants than Tyson. men like Foreman and Shavers would desire to the two hit extra durable than Tyson yet Ali beat those men whilst he substitute into an previous fighter. a youthful Cassius Clay would beat every person from any era! remember Ali substitute into banned from boxing for 3 a million/2 of his absolute top years and got here back to overcome the countless maximum suitable combatants ever.

Tyson in his prime would trash Ali in a street fight. Remember Tyson was raised on watching Ali footage and improving on it as boxers do with Tyson now.

Muhammad Ali aka Cassius Clay has fought at least two goon like fighters in the past. Sonny Liston (twice), and George Foreman, winning all three times. Ali would use the rope a dope strategy to tire and frustrate Tyson like he did Foreman, because of this--ala Buster Douglas--Ali will then use his excellent speed to defeat "Aluminum Mike."

Why is everyone discounting Muhammad so easily on this one? Remember - he's a lot bigger than Tyson.
As one who has been involved in many streetfights - in the streets, size counts. A lot.
