Jones' ego destroyed him. The fast, extensive weight loss, of mostly muscle tissue, after the Ruiz fight damaged his body physiologically. One minute he was the best thing out there and the next second he was shot.

he's watching film of himself getting destroyed by Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson - we never knew he had a glass jaw until someone actually landed a clean shot - he was so good when he was young, nobody every hit him square - now that his skills are fading, he's getting dropped
