The heavyweight fight last night was at a baseball stadium, which got me thinking about the people in the upper seats. Are there people who still take binoculars to watch the action, or do they just watch the big screen?

On Boxrec, he's up 20 places to the #9 spot. Sergei Liakhovich dropped 16 to the #25 spot. I really don't think they should be ranked 16 places apart, even if it did end in a knockout. What would you find more appropriate?

I think manny pacquiao will win a lot.

He finally realised his potential and pulled the trigger, something he failed to do and that cost him the fight against Lewis.
Liakhovich fought a completely wrong fight against a much bigger man.
WBO title doesn't mean sh*t, but at least the brothers are back in the picture.

After his title winning, brilliant display against Carlos Baldomir, can anyone seriously challenge Floyd Mayweather other than Oscar? A lot of people say Antonio Margarito, but i'm just not sold on Margarito against Floyd. Margarito doesn't have the speed or boxing skills to keep up with Mayweather and Floyd proved in the fight with Baldomir that he can cope with a bigger, stronger man. I think Oscar is not only naturally bigger but is probably the only fighter that can match Floyd in skill, hand speed and ring savvy. What do you think? Who else would be a serious threat to Mayweather?

He predictably beat Baldomir the other night in a pretty one sided fight but does anyone really like watching fights like that?. Im not the greatest Mayweather fan but i wouldent argue too much with the people who like to call him the pouned for pouned best, but he does seem to hand pick his opponents a bit. Who should he fight next, who would give him a good test and hopefully cut that ego down to size a bit.

Anyone who beleives Hagler really lost to Leonard is too naive for explanation. Hagler was a 10 to 1 favorite over Leonard and with good reason. When they fought, Leonard had only fought once in five years, had never fought as a middleweight and he lost to one of his toughest opponents, Hearns, who Hagler annihilated in less than 3 rounds. Hagler was a machine who feared no one and beat everyone yet, against Leonard, well past posing any serious threat to Marvelous, we were to believe Hagler was suddenly cowed into "fighting" like a Brownie. The truth goes something like this: A certain organization, paid Hagler to allow Leonard to win as they placed an incredible sum on the underdog. Hagler's official payday would have netted him less than 5 million had he won. Instead, already a legend, he took approx. 50 million vis a vis offshore account to take the fall; the payday made possible by the organization's bets of upwards of 100 million on Leonard, earning the bettors about 1 billion

I want to watch the fight and its HBO Pay per view. I know that all of these sportsbars down here have nfl, college, and one of them even has nhl tickets (i live in north carolina), but i want to find a place for the boxing match. Does anyone know if Hooters would like definitely have Mayweather vs. Baldomir? Its just that its boxing not college football and I fear that no one will have it because its A) not college football and B) not a heavyweight fight. My other guess besides hooters was one of those sportsbars with lots of pool tables.

All I am saying is I love the guy, and if he is smart he will use that stick all night and counter with straight right's and visious left hooks to the head and body. But, it is a full moon and no Roger, come on this could spell DOOM. If he is smart he will box and stay away, but, I have to think that Chapion heart will come out about the fifth.
