On Boxrec, he's up 20 places to the #9 spot. Sergei Liakhovich dropped 16 to the #25 spot. I really don't think they should be ranked 16 places apart, even if it did end in a knockout. What would you find more appropriate?

Well I think the last match Briggs won by decision was against George Foreman and that was a majority decision to find his last unanimous decision we would have to go back to 1995. We can't fault him for this because he is a knock out fighter and we have to give him credit as he has won his last 12 fights. It was a sloppy boring fight but he did do what he needed to just as Oleg Maskaev did against Hasim Rahman. The number 9 spot is fair enough. Serguei perhaps deserves to be a little higher given he had kept ahead throughout the fight. At least in the top 20 perhaps right behind Jameel McCline who is at 18 since that was Brigg's last loss. 25 is not outragious however as one good showing against one of these boxers ahead of him will bring him right back in contention for one of the belts. Perhaps a rematch with Lamon Brewster or a hard fight against Chris Byrd. A smaller heavyweight would be an ideal next match for him where he can use his reach and natural talents. Reestablish himself as an exciting fighter like in his Brewster fight. As long as he remains someone who is a draw there will be plenty of opportunities for him but if he fights another sleeper fight he may fade away like Briggs did after his loss to Lewis. It isn't the best heavyweights but the most exciting that fans want to see as was proven by Tyson's big draws even when his skills have fallen by the wayside.

Since rankings by the sanctioning bodies can be bought or sold and boxrec has no bearing on who fights who it is a mute point. Briggs has one of the belts. Now Briggs and the other three champions need to get together and start beating each other so there is an undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Boxing would be better off.

a million. Tua by technique of far. Rahman and Briggs are good punchers yet not on Tua's aspect in my opinion 2. Rahman-Lewis confirmed Rahman's capacity. Tua vs Moorer confirmed Tua's capacity Briggs vs Mercer confirmed Briggs capacity 3. to at least one yet another or all time? Tua Rahman Briggs 4. Briggs would win. Tua is in basic terms too constrained in my opinion and would get outjabbed. Briggs outpointed George Foreman and Foreman is more effective perfect than tua all round. Briggs UD 10

well briggs is a champion so i guess a top 10 overall rating is ok but considering Liakhovich was ahead and winning and would prob win a rematch i`d say he should be ranked right after briggs at the 10 slot.
