I'm glad you asked this question, general consensus would say Margarito...but honestly there is no one on Mayweather's level right now..De La Hoya would get embarrassed...I personally would like to see him fight Sugar Shane
Remember he beat Baldomir with one hand which he hurt early in the fight, I noticed that before the announcers did....and he still did not lose 1 round in the fight. He didn't throw one right hand after the 6th round...y'all can hate on Mayweather but there is no one out there right now that can beat him...Period. You don't have to like him because he is an asshole, but you better respect him. UNDISPUTED..POUND FOR POUND THE BEST FIGHTER IN THE WORLD...and if you think different, then you don't know boxing....PERIOD

To be honest, in this generation I don't think there's anybody that could stop this guy. Too much skill, that's all i'm saying. Forget the speed, thats obvious, but this guys skill is incredible. He could switch from defense to offense and offense to defense in a heart beat. But anyways, if anybody might make it a little bit tough, it would be Margarito. Just cause of his size advantage i give him a bit of a chance. But we all know what happened with Baldomir and his "size advantage", came in 13lbs heavier and did nothing for 12 rounds. Baldomir could take a punch better than Margarito, and he was a definite KO if Mayweather would've been more aggresive. So i think Margarito would be the same, either a KO or 12-Round domination. 'Nuff said. De la Hoya would be harder, but his lack of speed (compare to Mayweather) and old legs mite work against him.

There are in basic terms 3 those who Floyd would strive against. He isnt struggling with Urango or Berto. those men arent Pay in line with View. he will in basic terms strive against Pacquiao, Mosley and/or Cotto. Cotto and Pacquiao will be tricky to make because of Arum. as a lot as i'd like a Pacquiao strive against, there's no genuine reward in it because an same human beings crying that Marquez and Hatton were too small will say Pacquiao became too small even as Floyd knocks him out. All chance, no reward isnt Floyd's type. i imagine considering that he has a operating heritage with Golden Boy that has resulted in a number of his greatest pay days...Shane may be the glaring decision. besides his habit the different evening might want to be punished contained in the hoop. delight will make Floyd attempt this.

i dont think he hand picks his opponents, i think that people are afraid to fight floyd so he has to take what he can get. I think he should fight De la hoya because he said he wants to go out fight the best so he needs to fight him. Floyd would punish Mosley

Shane, amen Brad.
Yolanda - afraid to fight Floyd? he turned down 8 million to fight Margarito. Why would he do that? Unless he thought Antonio was dangerous. There is something there.
