I've seen them all play three times. Except for Rose. I saw him for the first time last night. I'm sure he's fantastic, otherwise I wouldn't have heard about him, but last night he didn't do anything impressive.

Beasley looks the best to me so far. Love isn't far behind. Mayo is pretty good, but if Russell Robinson from Kansas can shut him out he's gonna have a real hard time in the pros.

There was a very interesting conversation on the radio today. The hosts were discussing the All Time Top 5 for certain NBA teams, so I thought it would be a good piece here......So here it goes:
Which ever NBA team is your team, who would be your All Time Top 5 players for that team. Mine would go like this: Denver Nuggets
Carmelo Anthony- Scoring
Fat Lever- Floor leadership, defense
Alex English- Led NBA in scoring for the decade (1980's)
David Thompson- The origional "Skywalker"
Dikembe Mutombo- A presense in the paint

Also between Shaq and Dawkins?

Id say Dominique because of his 2 legged strength and Hammer.

Dawkins would win over Shaq because of his momentum from running full speed from the top of the key.... They would all be devistating and somewhat humiliating.

This should be interesting. I'm not sure there are many folks who know too much about Wilt, or Russell, or even Jabbar. But, i'm hoping some know about the likes of Olajuwon, Robinson, and Ewing. So which 5 should be on the all time list? Don't forget the likes of Shaq.....

Oh, my GOD!!! Did you see his game earlier tonight? He was a beast! he had 42 points and 13 rebounds! This is what I want to see, this is the amare that caught my attention and this is why he is my second favorite player! Go Amare! Anyways, what are your thoughts on the game?

im 13, 14 in 1 month, 2/3 done growing, about 5'8, pretty quick (quicker than 90% oof opponents), 24 inch vertical with some body control. Will i mature and get quikcer like iverson or would i have to be already like fast as lightning if i ever were to be that quick. im deciding whether to stop playing basketball becasue i dont know if i have the physical ability.

In basketball, a team can call a time-out anytime they have possesion of the ball. But it seems that this interferes with the play. When a player with the ball is trapped in a corner, he can call time-out to avoid losing the ball. This is not the purpose of a time-out so it should not be allowed.

I think it would improve the game if a time-out could only be called when there is a whistle. There are plenty of fouls called so there is ample opportunities for time-outs.

What do you think???

since the NBA teams are so rich and can afford anything, why dont they hand out disposable cameras with flash to every fan before the game, and when the opposing teams free throw shooter starts to shoot, all of the fans in the arena clicks on the camera, and the whole arena flashes, and the free throw shooter would most likely miss, this would give the home team a great advantage, what do you think? haha
