who cares, they're not going to win a national title this year...they're playing such easy teams that when they come across good ones, they'll be inexperienced and have no idea what they're doing...plus there are plenty of teams with more talent than them

You must be a Duke, Ohio St. or Mich. St. fan. Apart from the fact that there are NO guarantees of a win for any big college or university playing a smaller school. With the talent that is merging toward smaller schools, it nearly evens the playing field. You look at George Mason or Davidson. Both would seem to be an fairly easy win but, GM took out UNC last year and I maybe wrong VCU took out Duke all in the NCAA Tourny. Davidson gave UNC and Duke a run for their money in the past few weeks so, when you say that "NC schedule so soft" it's just as soft as any other big schools schedule. It's hard to get to be #1 in the polls but, it's even harder to stay there. Your sound just like the washed up guys and coaches that are on ESPN, don't think that the polls account for anything this early in the year when the Tarheels are #1. But, if their favorite team is up there they're, all about cheering them on and saying how good they are.

Some of their out of conference games are weak but it is no easy task competing in the ACC. Because of that their strength of schedule will be highly ranked.
