I've seen them all play three times. Except for Rose. I saw him for the first time last night. I'm sure he's fantastic, otherwise I wouldn't have heard about him, but last night he didn't do anything impressive.

Beasley looks the best to me so far. Love isn't far behind. Mayo is pretty good, but if Russell Robinson from Kansas can shut him out he's gonna have a real hard time in the pros.

What's your takes?

What up Tim?

i would say out of those 4-- Beasley has been the most impressive. Another Freshmen you might want to put in the mix is: Eric Gordon out of Indiana.

OK here's my thoughts:

Most NBA Ready: Michael Beasley. i think he's the most NBA ready in terms of his physical presence. He has an NBA body and Kansas State has played a fair share of decent teams so those numbers he's putting are up very impressive at this stage.

Most skilled: Kevin Love. Love also has an NBA type body but at 6"8' just not as monstorous as Beasley. Love is however a very good passer. The concern on Love right now might be his durability- he hasn't been 100% all season so we've yet to see the best of Kevin Love but he's a double-double machine.

Best pure scorer: I'd have to go with Eric Gordon from Indiana.

Best of the Rest:

Rose: Rose plays on a team of superstars so he isn't going to shine every game, but he's definitely a top pick because as a pure point guard- he's got a lot of game.

Mayo: OJ shows a lot of promise but needs time to develop. i agree that his game is not quite pro-ready (especially on the defensive end).

i also like JJ Hickson down at NC State is a special player.

Love. He used to live in Oregon, in fact he lived near me (Lake Oswego) so I gotta say he's my favorite.
