true... closer and closer.... but ever so far away. you can't win with hopes and dreams. you gotta play defense. and for as long as the spurs are in the playoffs, the chances of them reaching the finals is minimal at best. the spurs can play the suns' way but with better defense. the suns', however, can't compete against the spurs if it turns to a half-court affair.
however, if by some miracle they get past the spurs or manage to avoid the spurs at all, chances of winning a championship greatly increases. mavs have difficulty playing against a dominant big man, which is what amare is. and i don't believe celtics can sustain a running game through an entire series.

Nope, sorry.
Every year it's the same thing. The Suns could finally do it. They could win a championship without defense. But eventually hot streaks end and big point scorers have bad games or get shut down. They will make the playoffs and do well, but they will lose to a Spurs or Mavs team that can defend them and match them scoring points.
BUT if they do make the finals, I think they've got a great shot agains the east. Even if they are playing against my Celts because the Celts don't matchup well against the Suns.

This question has been asked for the past three years. The Suns are a great team but during the playoffs they are one of the worst teams. They will go to the palyoffs but lose in the second round. They will again lose energy during the playoffs

Ummm noo! every year people say they have a great chance of winning it all but every year what happens. They get beat in the playoffs. I personally think it will be between the celtics/magic for the east and the spurs, once again for the west!

They should win it all.
After the Tim Donoghy scandal, the refs should be in no position to help the Spurs beat them again.
Take out all the cheap shots that the refs allowed, which escalated to Stoudemire's suspension, and the Suns would have taken it last year.
Just refer to Game three of the West finals if you don't believe me.
