Is it Yao, Dwight, Amare, Even Camby maybe

Easy. Tim Duncan. Even though I can't stand watching him. Amare is a power forward, not a center. Yao is still too raw, but can still get better. Duncan is unfortunately proven and polished. Howard's good, but Duncan is your man.

Dwight Howard.

Howard, my friend, Howard. Amare doesn't rebound or play strong defense, Yao's soft on defense, and all Camby is good for is defense and rebounds, but he can't score. Dwight Howard is the complete package.

Dwight is the most dominant because he has great athleticism, strength, and speed but he isn't the best. Yao is the best center in the NBA. He is unguardable at 7'6" and double and triple teams don't work against him.

I'll say Dwight Howard, regardless of anyone's age. He is a top rebounder, and his field goal percentage is amazing. On defense, he has the best combination of size, strength, and athleticism of anyone.

The center's role is to be a force on the boards, to be a scoring threat down low, and to be able to defend the middle. Howard handles all of those responsibilities as well as anyone.

Dwight Howard is the best center in the NBA.
he almost never has a bad night... (except for the night with the LA Lakers)
very consistant. his scoring ability is great and he leads the NBA in rebounds.

I would have to say either Dwight Howard or Amare there both to solid players-they both have outstanding defense and can be a go-to-guy when you need them to be. They both dominate the paint

Right now it's Dwight, then Yao.
