Where should he be traded. I heard the organization said that they weren't gonna trade him anymore but if he was traded what would be a good team for him.

the los angeles lakers team right now with phil jackson. the michael jordan of his prime replacing kobe bryant. so the team would be michael jordan, lamar odom, kwame brown, luke walton, smush parker...ect. could mj lead the lakers to another championship? i know he would make other players like lamar odom better, but will he win the championship? i want to ask this question because many people say the jordan of his prime put into any team can win the championship and i want to know if this is true. i want to know if jordan can accomplish something that kobe bryant cant.

He had two good games in the playoffs (and still only averaged 8 points per game in the playoffs) and now people who didn't even know his name before those two games are going crazy about him. And he only averaged about 4 ppg in the regular season. All of his fame is mainly because of the second of those two games when he scored 30-something points. He was even on ESPN First Take and practically the whole interview was about that game. It's insane that he is getting TV appearances because of that game. I'm not saying that he won't become a good player in the future but he is nowhere near being that good right now. I do respect the guy (I live in Houston which is where he is from and I watched him in college) but he doesn't deserve to be talked about so damn much.

Personally, I think Tim Duncan is better, but only by a hair. Tim Duncan has a bit more experience than Amare and still has a lot of power. But then again, since Amare's younger than Duncan, he's probably a bit more aggressive than Dunca. But I'd still have to say that Duncan is better, right now. Stoudemire might very well be as good as Duncan when he is Duncan's age. He might possible be a future hall-of-famer. Anyway, what do yall think? Duncan or Stoudemire?

First of all, the meaning of overrated is one who isn't as hyped up as people say. So in Kobe's case, many people say he is the best ever, but he's nothing without Shaq-daddy and absolutely nothing without Phil Jackson. And that's what overrated means.

So who is the second most overrated?

Yao Ming? Amare? Mike Miller? Vince Carter? Amare? Oh wait, I already said that!

P.S. I'm a Suns fan but Amare had "extra days rest" and still got whipped... Trade him, Steve Kerr!

Is it by points?
making teammates better?
defensive capability?
rings?
thousand advertisements?
dishing out 13+ assists in a game?
scoring 30+pts in a game?

What's your definition of greatness?
I know that comparing someone from a different era is unfair, but don't you all realize that what we have now is probably the prime of the nba? i mean, in these days, everybody can have scoring outbursts, 20 rebounds, 20 assists, guys who finish the play and1.

i mean, do you consider a player's greatness because you like him, or he became the reason why you are a basketball fan?

well, that's not greatness, that's charisma.

how about jason kidd and stockton, never won a ring but probably the best complete point guards in history (offense and defense, no, not nash), do you consider them?

Probably, you're saying that jordan won 6 rings while kobe just won 3 rings, well, robert had 7, does that mean that horry was greater than jordan?

Call me crazy, but just think about his: The Lakers as they are started the first half of last season at 27-14 before injuries ruined their season. If they would have continued winning at that rate they'd have won 54 games and it would have put them as the 4th or 5th seed in the wild western conference. So think about this, with that record in the west and Kobe's stat line of 32 points, 5 rebs, and 6 assist would he deserve MVP over Nash or Nowitzki? Say he pulls this off in the 2007-08 season?

Considering their roster now (with Fisher) and possibly trading for Jermaine O'Neal (they have no chance of getting KG), or even staying with the same roster as last year only healthy, we may see the Lakers win 50+ games and Kobe Bryant get his first MVP. What do you guys think?
