That's a no-brainer. Kevin McHale! Hubie Brown once said that he's the most difficult low-post player to defend against. Larry Bird also commented that had he taken his game more seriously, McHale could have scored 50 easy points every night from his low-post moves.

I would like to say Kareem because of his great offensive low-post scoring and how long he played. I was leaning towards Bill Russell, but he just didn't have a huge offensive arsenal of low-post moves, he was mainly known for his defense. Kareem could do it all, he rebounded, blocked shots, and what I enjoyed most, his ability to score in the post. He possesed probably the best low-post move/shot that is basically unguardable, the sky-hook. Nobody could stop that shot and Kareem was truly the only player to master that shot, which allows him to be the player with the most points in his career. Overall a great player and has my vote for best low-post player.

Wilt and Shaq. Wilt was the reason they changed the key. Also Shaq in his prime was unstoppable.

Chamberlain & McHale are good candidates. I haven't seen Karl Malone mentioned yet.

Wilt Chamberlain, by far. No one will ever break his record of 100 points in a game.

Wilt Chamberlain. He was a monster in his prime and could overpower anyone. He could bench 550 pounds! Shaq can only lift 425. He killed his competition.

SHAQ...with his size, quickness, and power no one
can handle him inside. They don't call him diesel for
nothing. He could take Chamberlin, Olajuwon (although his
quickness would make it interesting, and he was strong too
but not as big).

I know alot of people will say Wilt, but what they don't understand is that he didn't have alot of competition in his era.I would say Bill Russell
because of his offensive mind set and his way of crashing down every board he could get.
