It is clear to everyone who watched the Western Conference semis that the Phoienix Suns were held responsible for Robert Horry's cheap shot. It is because two of the Suns were suspended for game 5 which led to a hard fought loss but, swayed the momentum into the Spurs favor. Had this rule not gotten inbetween the series, and the players allowed to play I only wonder what could have happened. I would have rather had no players suspended then to have the Suns best post players suspended. Had their been a game 7 in Phoenix the spurs would have lost. They reconized this and went for the kill in game 6 after being advantegously given game 5. i have been looking foward to the suns winning their first championship, and they could have done it this year. Stern should be fired for his poor decision making skills, & Stu Jackson is a goofy looking puppet that can't think for himself. I'm not gonna waste my time watching a re-run of the finals from two years ago, or just plain watch NBA anymore.

I don't understand the ruling o this. Usually they shoot two from the line, but what kind of foul does it take for them to get to shoot one and one?

I've always wonodered why this is as, being British, basketball doesn't have much of a following over here.

Thanks!

In a few hours ping pong balls will decide the fate of several NBA franchises. It's funny how something so tiny can make such a HUGE impact on an entire sport. Just think how different the landscape of the NBA would be right now if 10 years ago the ping pong balls had bounced with the odds and awarded the Celtics the top pick and Tim Duncan. The Lakers/Celtics rivalry would have now included some fierce NBA Finals showdowns between Shaq & Kobe's Lakers vs Duncan & Pierce's Celtics. San Antonio would probably still be looking for David Robinson's replacement instead of on the verge of winning their 4th title in 9 years and enjoying the best overall record of any team in professional sports over the past 10 years.

That's the kind of impact one player can have on a franchise. The past 26 of 27 championships have been won by a superstar. Dr. J, Magic, Bird, Jordan, Isiah, Dream, Shaq, Duncan...Oden & Durant? The Cavs will win titles with James. Which two teams will soon join the list?

They just seem like they can not roll with tteams that play solid defense and have a low post player (and no Yao is not a post player). Anyone agree/disagree?

Think about it. Lebron plays like crap tonight and his team still almost wins against the PISTONS. Hmmm...who has the better supporting cast to make him look better? Lebron has many good players surrounding him and could hardly ever lead a team by himself. Kobe doesn't. He basically willed them into the playoffs. Put Lebron on the Lakers, they're a lottery team.

Boy are they going to be ripping Lebron apart tommorow.
I love my Pistons but I like Lebron too. Pistons "D" is just to good for him! And allthough Marshall had wide open shot, if your a Cleveland fan, don't you want Lebron taking it.

By the way it's going to be Pistons in 5.

Lebron James doesn't have the killer instinct. He cannot take control of the game when it counts. He is not a clutch shooter. Tonight shows that he does not want the game to fall on his shoulders. Lebron gain some balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

When I go to the park with my lil bro and my dad we play basketball , sometimes my step dad tells me what to do and how to do things and other stuff as well . Which I'm okay with . But sometimes when I tell him that I'm having a problem doing what he's telling me to do he immediately blurts out " yeah , you're the expert you don't need help " and does this in an annoying and sarcastic way . All I wanted to say is that maybe I'm not getting the directions right and he needs to show me step by step but he doesn't . One of the most annoying things he does is when I try to shoot and I miss he keeps an annoying smile at his face and laughs behind my back . All I want is to get better without having to face with all this . What should I do ?

Before I do, keep in mind that I live in the West and don't get many chances to see him play. So I know very little about him. I'm just asking out of ignorance.
When he first came to the NBA, he was hailed as the one of the greatest. I heard him compared favorably to the best of the best. So the question(s): Has he lived up to the hype? Is he as good as he was supposed to be?
