Think about it. Lebron plays like crap tonight and his team still almost wins against the PISTONS. Hmmm...who has the better supporting cast to make him look better? Lebron has many good players surrounding him and could hardly ever lead a team by himself. Kobe doesn't. He basically willed them into the playoffs. Put Lebron on the Lakers, they're a lottery team.

I must have clicked the wrong link.

I thought I was coming to Yahoo! Answers, where people ask questions, but it looks like I accidentally clicked on Yahoo! Opinions instead.

Whoops.

To JC(Im goin at you, and whoever else is a kobe and/or Laker hater)- You either have not an ounce of basketball knowledge within you, or you're just flat out stupid...yes Lamar is waaaaayyyyyyy better then drew gooden, but does he consistently show it? hell no. Lamar is so passive, so inconsistent, it doesnt matter what his potential could be, or what everyone wants him to be, its what he is. Until he learns that on his own, and consistently plays to the level he can play, Kobe is and will always be the only threat on the Lakers, unless another superstar is obtained. All you Kobe haters need to shut your mouths, and look at the situation with some sense. Lebron better than Kobe? Most ridiculous thing I've heard. Zydrunas Ilgauskas is very competent, as well as Larry Hughes. Who are we trying to turn to? Kwame Brown? Get the hell out of here. Lebron has a much stronger supporting cast. Step ya game up. Kobe does whatever is needed to win. You think we would've won those games without him scoring the way he did? People are startin to piss me off with this nonsense.

i think the elementary valid argument for Kobe is that LeBron is the better participant for the 1st 40 seven minutes and fifty 5 seconds of a interest. The question will become, with 5 seconds left and you're down via 2, who's palms do you like the ball to be in? that question gets rid of the factors on who's extra desirable, stronger and swifter. functional LeBron followers will admit that Kobe's hit extra take carry of photos in his profession purely as functional Kobe followers will admit that LeBron is a larger athlete. the two will argue that their participant's power is extra important. Neither fan can win or lose top now.

First of all, I'm NOT a Kobe hater, and I think Kobe is better than Lebron at this point. But remember that James is only 22 years old and he's already being compared not only with Bryant but also with the great MJ. Man, that's something! With his incredible skill and athleticism, it's sky's the limit for this kid. Just imagine what this guy will be 5, 6 years from now. Of course, it's hard to say that he'll surpass Kobe, Dr. J or even MJ, but the opportunities are definitely there and within his reach.

Im sick and tired of people calling Kobe a ball hog. Do they not relize that Phil runs the offense through kobe now. In the begining of the season, kobe was down 8 shot attempts and his assist were up. After the all star break, a banged up odom and walton made it difficult for kobe to find help. They were on a 7 game losing streak and he had to start scoring 50 in order for them to win. If kobe had lebrons team, and was on the eastern conference, i would bet my money on him taking his team AT LEAST the eastern conference finals if not to the finals. how much easier is it to win ball games in the eastern conference. Kobe has to go through the best teams four times each (the spurs, suns, mavs, rockets, and nuggets) Lebron goes through miami and detroit four times each. But its ok, Kobe haters hate while u can cuz when Andrew Bynum develops and reaches his semi potential, it'll be the start of something special

Kobe is a ball hog and a ME FIRST man. LeBron needs a better supporting cast . It's not like he doesn't give them a chance.
Detroit on the other hand doesn't even take this team seriously and will play just enough to win!

#1. Skill for skill, Lebron is quicker, a better passer, and he jumps higher. Kobe is a better defender, better shooter, and is more clutch.

#2. Lebron has the better supporting cast. Smush, and Farmar or Snow, and Hughes. Definitely Snow and Hughes. Hughes is a known threat and Snow is a known defender and floor leader. Don't forget he went to the Finals with the 76ers. Odom or Gooden. Of course you would pick Odom but how valuable is he if he's playing through injury. Ilgaskis or Kwame. I might have spelled his name wrong but I would definitely go with big Z. Kwame couldn't catch a cold. I would take Luke over Poplovich but out of all these example, that's only 1 plus for Kobe. By the way Walton was playing through injury too.

#3. My opinion, Lebron had a path to the basket. He could have went up strong for a lay up or dunk. Or he could have gotten fouled for two shot at the free throw line. But instead he pass the ball to Marshall for a 3 pointer at the end of the game. To me that's not making your teammates better. That's taking the pressure of yourself and PASSING it to some one else.

Kobe is more experience than Lebron. Also Lebron is still young at the moment and I believe his skill will improve within another 2-3 playoffs.

YES KOBE HAS 3 RINGS THAT HE WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN WITHOUT SHAQ.
NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG KOBE IS A GOOD BALL PLAYER.
BUT HE LACKS THE SKILLS THAT MAKES YOU A GREAT PLAYER. A GREAT PLAYER MAKES EVERY ONE AROUND THEM BETTER PLAYERS.
LEBRON IS BETTER THAN KOBE.
LEBRON CAME TO A TEAM THAT WAS NOTHING AND HELPED TURN THEM INTO LEGIT CONTENDERS.
YOU COULD HAVE PUT LEBRON ON ANY BAD TEAM AND HE WOULD HAVE LED THEM TO WHERE HE IS TODAY. KOBE IS EXCITING TO WATCH.

looky here idiot, kobe and lebron have the same cast if not kobes is slightly better no one on the cavs is better than odom..oh wait drew gooden...NOT!! but i guess larry hughes is good...NOT he wants his stats up like Kobe, and dont throw that 3 rings crap because after has left kobe has 0 and shaq has 1, lebron just happends to PASS THE BALL and find open teammates unlike kobe if one player misses a shot oh no i better score 50 the bext 5 games because my team cant shoot, uh oh carmelo passed him up for the league leading in scoring i better score 60.... lebrons in the eastern finals and kobes team hasnt finished better than 7th since sha left with a missed playoffs 2 years ago, when kobe learns to pass ill like him as a player

Yeah I see you had to change your question because obviously you didn't watch the game and you erased my answer cause you looked like an ***. Your arguement is void plain and simple Lebron is a better player, and leader, Kobe would bring anyones team down.
