Before I do, keep in mind that I live in the West and don't get many chances to see him play. So I know very little about him. I'm just asking out of ignorance.
When he first came to the NBA, he was hailed as the one of the greatest. I heard him compared favorably to the best of the best. So the question(s): Has he lived up to the hype? Is he as good as he was supposed to be?

You need to understand that he's only 22.
MJ was the same when he started the NBA.
There is so much he needs to learn from.
He will be better than he is now in 5 years and better in 10 years. He is still young and has already accomplished a lot.
I am very impressed by how hes doing.

He is very good, his team is still in the playoffs, however him,Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade came in the league @ the same time but the hype was on Carmelo and Lebron. They were picked b4 Wade and Wade turned out 2 be the better player. However Lebron is a lil overrated

Lebron is not there whole team The cavaliers actually have the deepest lineup in the NBA Pg Mo Williams - daniel Gibson Sg: delonte west - Anthony parker Sf: jamario moon- darrell Jackson Pf: hickson - verejao C: shaq- Ilgalskis So don't assume there team would be nothing without him. Saying that they would probably make it to the second round and lose.

Hes highly overated hes not a good free throw shooter and not clutch at all. TO be one of the greatest players in the nba you have to be clutch that is the number #1 rule !. I think he is good as hes suppose to be and i dont think he will get any better i cant see him taking over in clutch situations.

He is one of the few superstars (especially for all of the hype he has gotten) that is not a me-first team mate. He makes the rest of the players on his team better. That is the reason he is in the Eastern Conference finals with a mediocre supporting cast.

I live in the east and everyone worships his game. I personally fo not agree. There are many other players in the league flying under the radar that are skilled. Don't get my wrong, he's good but he has along way to go to be called the greatest. so for now I am not a witness.

No

He has totally overachieved and has performed well over everyone's expectations...he's got some things to work on like defense, free throw shooting, taking over in clutch, etc etc...these are things that all established superstars struggle with...he's only 22...look for him to improve unless he doesn't want to work on those little things that can actually win you a championship
