I like Kevin Garnett---20 pts and ten rebounds, and a coupla assists every single day, but Kobe is awesome and T-Mac can take over a game---who is the MAN? It has to be KG, Kobe, or T-Mac

Lamar is a crutch for the Lakers and needs to be traded. He plays no defense and gets into these ballhogging grooves when he's suppose to be a point forward last time I checked. If he doesn't play the point forward he's pretty useless in my opinion. Plus he's a pretty streaker shooter. But anyways, Lakers can't win a championship with him.

Let's assume that somehow a player got into the NBA without ever playing college ball and not signing an agent either. He plays for a few years and decided he wants to play NCAA basketball for whatever reason. Are there any rules that would prevent this from happening?

I don't see why NBA players should be barred from playing on NCAA teams if they don't play in the NBA at the same time. Is there some kind of rule stipulating that if you play in the NBA, you can never be a college athlete?

I've noticed a lot of teams have a european guys about my build stand there and shoot long jump shots which is my speciality. I don't dunk because shooting is my thing ... 2 for you 3 for me.

It used to be just Allen Iverson but now I noticed a lot of players wearing them. Long socks, tights or arm sleeves make players look silly. I am not convinced of its alleged benefits of keeping the arm warm and preventing over stretching of the arm. Does it improve shooting percentage, endurance and reduce injury dramatically or just fashion trend? I think it should be banned as part of NBA dress code unless it does prevent aggravating an injury or for other useful purposes.

so this "apple" chick think's Dirk is MVP. what she cant get through her small little brain, is that it was the GMs survey, not the real thing...and yet she's so insistent on it...anyone else wanna beak her?

I have seen some of the votes coming in and Dirk is leading the cause.

I heard an interview where one writer said he picked Dirk because of history and that he wasn't ready to put Nash in the same level as Bird, Russell and the others.

I find it insulting that they would base their choice for MVP on history or past winners. I thought choosing the MVP was based on quality of play for the current year. I thought choosing the MVP was based on if the candidate made his team better.

Nash has surely improved from last year. Nash makes everyone better. Nash is the best playmaker in the league. Nash is the smartest player in the league. The Suns win when he is on the floor and look like fish out of water when he doesn't play.

Dirk is a great player on a team that has the most wins. The Mavericks can still win when he is out of the game. That is the difference bewteen Nash and Dirk.

Nash deserves MVP, but Columnists are going to write him second because of past MVP's. Unfair?

This one is funny;

"As most would expect from a young, confident team, the chemistry of this squad is one of the primary reasons for its success. The players are very close-knit group, laugh a lot, love their coach and have a lot of fun. The highlight of today's bus ride back to the team hotel after practice was topped off with a barrel of laughs at the expense of Mr. Pietrus. When a team PR rep asked all of the players if they had any interest in attending tonight's Texas Rangers' game at The Ballpark in Arlington, Stephen Jackson asked "who are they playing?" When informed it was the Seattle Mariners, one of the players shouted out - "Ichiro!!" - to which MP responded, "Texas Rangers? Chuck Norris?" You gotta love the Frenchmen. We told him, yes, Norris is one of their starting pitchers, but won't be on the mound tonight." Warriors website.
