They are still the best team in the NBA.

What frustrates me is the consistent lack of heart and effort put on the defensive end by this team.
1. Parker looks like he's hanging out at the park. I never see him run at anyone.
2. Kwame needs to be let go. The boy can't catch the ball, rebound, or make a layup. Don't even ask him what defense means.
3. Too many times they are just standing around and lose track of their man and little buggers like Barbosa get a free layup all the time.
This team really really frustrate the hell out of me. There is such a difference between teams like the old utah jazz (malone and stockton) that used to play scrappy with a never say die attitude and this stupid *** "I wanna chill at the beach" attitude Lakers.
I really don't blame Kobe for anything. I feel sorry for this guy. His team sucks and he's stuck with them.
I really wanted the Lakers to miss the playoffs so they can possible get someone good from the draft this year.
This really sucks. I really think I can play better defensively than any of those losers.

the "Lakers" should not be considered the "Lakers" they should be considered as the "KOBE's" and no they are about to get swept by the Suns. Nobody can stop the dominance of the Phoenix offense. Nash is a playmaker. His other 4 put up points consistently. Thats all he needs. Lakers are not on the same level as the Suns.

They arent done for. They can be down two games and still make a comeback. Kobe is the best player in the NBA and Lamar Odom is a good number 2. They have a shot, and yes they deserve to be on the floor with them, they did make the playoffs, they are the 7th seed, not the 8th, so they didnt just sneak in.

Hell no. But as much as we'd like to see an exciting nail-biting game, it's important every once in awhile for my Suns to kick the crap out of another team just to show people that they can do it. I'm a Suns fan and have been watching them all season. They look hungrier now than I've ever seen them during the season. That spells trouble for the Lakers.

Just to jog all of your memories, LA was comfortably seated in 5th place around the All-Star break.
Logic says that this team shouldn't be in the playoffs with duds like Smush and Kwame starting.
Yet, they have the best offensive guard in the game, and if anything, Kobe will win one game in this series by himself.
But anything more than that is impossible.
And remember Los Angeles's opening night game against Phoenix?

they arnt doing too good right now..their defense sucks and they dont have anyone to go to for offense except kobe..and that doesnt work still because the more Kobe tries to do the worse he becomes..the lakers will be lucky to win a game in this series

Not right now, they are getting blown out. It looks like a clinic, but they will make a run, all NBA teams do.
I still say, Suns in 5.
