None of the above, Carmelo should be the MVP, Dirk is awesome for a 7 footer the Warriors own the Mavs this year probably ending the 1 seed early this year, Nash is awesome but the Suns need to play more D, Bron-Bron he has the unfortunate situation for playing for a team other than Miami or Detroit, enough said about the Eastern Conference, but this is a popularity contest so Kobe or Nash will win. Even after Melo lost his mind and socked a Knick in the grill he still got back on track after the 15 game suspension. Melo gets no calls from the refs gets abused underneath and still scores around 30 ppg, he is lucky he's got some body mass to him. I think Coach Karl's attitude adjustment for Melo paid off this year and will prove tremendously valuable to the Denver Nuggets future and probably this 2007 post-season.

You cannot deny Dirk. Yes, Nash had another great season, but he also had Amare back and the Suns placed 2nd in the west again!

Dirk is the most valuable player on that team. Who is his backup? Dampier? Diop? No way. Look at who's backing up Nash: Leandro "Brazilian Blurr" Barbosa. I'd say an MVP would not have the best sixth man in the league.

Its obvious that Dirk is going to win it.... I'd say Nash deserves it more, but its funny how you mentioned LeBron, and nobody else has put him in the MVP race. His numbers were very impresssive and he led his team to the 2nd best record in the east.

Dirk had a great year, but to me it seems like he always folds up like a lawn chair under pressure. Kobe's team almost missed the playoffs, so the voters will show him no love.

But to answer your question the MVP that will be selected this year will be Dirk.

it iz SteVe naSh!!!! Well thats why he's been winning it the past years he's the most valuable player. Dirk is not reliable in close games, neither is Lebron due to his free throw shooting. But Kobe and Nash are and i wouldnt be suprised to see either one of theses two winning it.

Lebron is still struggling when money time comes

Nash isn't that good to win 3 times in a row and Phoenix doesn't play any defense

Kobe should win it if the Lakers had a better record

Dirk should win it because the Mavs has the best record and he was the anchor of the team
