New Orleans (NO) Hornets are playing in Oklahoma (OK) since the Katrina disaster. They should be back to New Orleans next year.
NO + OK = NOK

Did you not know how it all came about? Thanks to hurricane Katrina this whole NOK thing was created....The Hornets had to move from New Orleans due to the damage to their arena. That organization has been through some major transitions in the past 2 seasons.

New Orleans/Oklahoma - Next season it will be back to just NO Hornets. This was their last season using both cities. You're probably gonna see the OK Supersonics really soon!!

NO is for New Orleans and OK is for Oklahoma. Put that together and you get NOK.

Aren't they still playing some games in Oklahoma? They did that last year with the whole Katrina thing, as a reflection of where they were playing.
