I am asking this question because I believe that the young players like Dwyane Wade and LeBron James could be as good or better. Also there's Kevin Durant and Greg Oden and Acie Law IV even though they're only in college those three will be awesome going pro.

Im talking from every country on Earth. They could be from the NBA, any country, or some undiscovered talent that you know. Who are your top 5, in order? They have to still be active, and not Scottie Pippen I-want-to-make-a-comeback active. I know I have LeBron and Kobe on my list

I understand that both of these guys score a boatload of points but everytime I watch Shaq he gets double and triple teamed every single time down the floor and still shoots and misses badly...why take those shots when you can kick it out to open teammates?? He used to make a decent percentage of shots when two teamed but not nearly as muc hanymore. Great centers like wilt did that and averaged about 6-7 assists a few seasons.

Kobe takes some bad shots but at least he makes a good percentage of them plus most of his shots taken when he's double or triple teamed is a jump shoot which is just shooting over outstretched arms unlike attempting a jump hook or layup around 4 guys which Shaq does where there is no space to operate at all

So why isn't Shaq thoughout his career hasn't averaged more assists? He gets double teamed every single time he touches and still chooses to shoot through it and more than often than not, he misses it. So Shaq is more selfish.

What do you guys think?

The Pistons have been on top of the East for a long time now. They're the first Eastern Conference Team to clinch a playoff spot, and they've proven that they can contend with the best by beating the sense out of the Suns. They've been a top team for a few years running. But Basketball fans outside of this area just don't want to talk about the Pistons. I just want to know why they don't get any kind of respect. The press gives them a somewhat fair deal, but other fans just talk about teams with marquee players, even if the team is awful (Kevin Garnett and his T-Wolves are a great example, or J-Kidd and the Nets.) It's a team sport, but no one respects a good team, just good players. The Mavs, The Suns, The Rockets, are all great teams, but the Pistons are not far behind them, except when it comes to recognition. Why?

Can someone explain why the Phoenix Suns have zero NBA Titles in 38 years of professional basketball? They have the fourth most wins in NBA history, next to the Spurs, Celtics and Lakers.

So where are the NBA Titles? And why only 2 NBA Finals appearances in that time? True, they played very valiantly in losing both to Boston and Chicago, respectively.

But at some point this team -- this franchise -- has to get it done. We cannot be known as the Chicago Cubs of the NBA.

Kevin Durant, Greg Oden, Acie Law, Aaron Afflalo, and Alando Tucker. Did you expect these guys to be All-Americans? Were some of them, perhaps, undeserving? Were there other players, you feel, should have deserved this honor more than these guys?

I dont think either of them should. Maybe Durant becasue he is a constistant scorer but Oden isn't. Plus both their colleges need them next season. They should be like the guys from Florida who stayed for another season. It would make more sense to stay all four years at college becasue once your down with the NBA or get really injured, we would you go from there? Add comments please

I played in 3rd grade throughout 8th grade and then didnt play in ninth or tenth grade... i love basketball and miss playing.. im planning on training all summer and hoping making varsity next year.. I would hope to continue basketball in college.. will me not playing for two years prevent this? I'm 5'3" 110 lbs.. female.. I understand I am undersized.. but I'm not going to let that stop me. Also, should I try to find an AAU team to play for over the summer or should I just train on my own?

This may be my last season watching the NBA. I can't take it. Its just not a man's sport anymore. Ticky tack fouls all over the place. Technical fouls flying everywhere. No one can play defense. Why do players even shoot anymore? All you have to do is drive and if a player breathes on you, the refs send you to the line. I watch a NBA game, and instead of seeing a real game, I'm watching a free throw shooting competition. Sure more games are going past 100 points, but are players shooting better or just getting to the line more often? Am I the only one who feel frusterated by this?
