Arenas is a selfish player and likes to show up the other team. He thinks that everyone is out to disrespect him, so if he did win the MVP, he probably wouldn't even accept it. His skills are definately worthy of an MVP trophy, but he does not make any of his teammates better (hence him always having to score a lot of points for them to win), and the key to being an MVP is making the players around you better. Dirk, LeBron and Nash do it better than Arenas, so they should be MVP more so than Arenas

You have to consider a few things in this case. Arenas is just an all around great player. But I think that the league judges wrong for MVP winners. Nash won it last year. I don't think he should have. Kobe should have won it. For one simple reason: He got it done alone. Nash had a great team all arond them. And they still didn't win. The numbers for Kobe were better too. I think Arenas might win it this year, but with the way they judge it, don't count on it.

Arenas will have a shot at MVP as soon as he agrees to play defense. I have watched him since he played in high school. And he never has played defense. I like him very much, seems to be a kind of person I would like to know but NO DEFENSE

if there's one who should be MVP, i think Dirk Nowitzki or Kobe Bryant, considering of how much they have done to their team this season. I don't think Agent Zero is capable to lift his team pass the first round playoff since they will face either Miami or Toronto. So i don't think he's an ideal choice.

i think he should be mvp. he is improving as a point guard and is the most important player to a top tier team (suns are overloaded, dallas has the incredible josh howard). haters like to think of him as selfish or crazy. he just sets goals(mostly in public) and works hard to achieve them. whats wrong with that?

Are you kidding? He's not even close to Dirk, Steve or Kobe. I think he's not a team player.

Since he just got in trouble for the whole betting thing, they probably wont give it to him. He's great though
