Ok, so Kobe is the BEST player in the NBA. Just because he had 4 50+ games, you guys think hes the MVP. His team would never beat the REAL MVPs team, and that is the Dallas Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki. Kobe has never really done anything for the Lakers since Shaq left either. Dirk or Steve Nash will get it, probably Dirk.

Count me OUT, and count the people who actually pick the MVPs OUT.

Kobe is the best offensive player in the NBA, but he's not the MVP of the NBA. The toss up goes to Dirk or Nash with Nash having a slight edge. Both the Mavs and Suns carry the best records in the NBA and with that type of success, you have to look to the stars of those teams. Nash is the best point guard in the league, he is able to control the furious paced offense that the Suns bring every night. He's the focal point of that offense, gets everyone involved and is a clutch shooter himself. Nowitzki is the best player on the best team in this league. He's virtually unstoppable at 7 feet tall and range beyond the 3 point arc. I have total respect for Kobe, but he's not the MVP with the Lakers being in the 6th spot in this playoff race. His time will come as that team matures together and become a more legitimate title contender. Many will argue that the Lakers aren't a playoff team without Kobe, yet the Suns and Mavs are. In my opinion, the Mavs and Suns make the playoffs without those guys, but they are no longer title contenders, thus making these 2 guys the difference between making the playoffs, and having the potential to win a championship.

One week shouldn't dictate the MVP. Nash and Dirk have been lights out the whole season and their teams are like Kobe, nothing without them. Kobe is probably the most talented player in the nba, but Nash and Dirk have carried their team to another level. Heck, what Shaq is doing with Miami and no Wade is more impressive! You need to look at the bigger picture.

Im out because if Kobe wants to win MVP maybe he needs to learn a whole other part of playing the offense. It's called passing.

Out. MVP should go to Nash or Dirk because they are on teams contending for the title. Lakers will lose in the first round of the playoffs.

OUT!

his team is barely over .500!

a MVP makes the players around him better. He's a ball-hog only interested in stats.

LMAO! ........Keep dreaming! KOBE BRYANT SUCK!
This is what he's done in 11 seasons.
0 finals mvp
0 nba mvp
0 nba finals records
0 olympic medals
0 defensive player of the year award
0 si sportsman of the year award
0 rookie of the year award
0 sixthman award (he's played the bench)
0 most improved player award
0 nba titles as the team leader
0 espy best basketball player award
0 rebound titles
0 assist titles (Wilt done it as a center)
0 steal titles
Anyways, Kobe's a loser! In 11 seasons he should of done more then half of those things. If he's on MJ , Magic, Bird, Duncan, Shaq, & other great players level he'd have them awards more then once.......To think he's going to win MVP this year would only come from the mind of a moron. This year he's been suspended mulitple times for committing assault & battery & his team record suck! I wish you well on your quest but it's not going to happen!....LMAO!
BTW: KOBE BRYANT SUCK!
