Steve Nash is waaay overrated. When he left Dallas it didn't even phase Dallas. If Nash is as valuable as his HYPE says he is, then Dallas should of crumbled when Nash left Dallas. But instead, they remain in the PLAYOFFS, reach the NBA FINALS, & having a Dallas record breaking season. Dallas success without Nash just shows you how Nash is not needed. If Nash makes his teammates better, well why didn't Dallas fall apart? You know why? Because he doesn't. Nash is just a average PG that depends on good talent around him.
Anyways, here's a example of a great player leaving a team. 2004 NBA Finals, The Lakers with Shaq were competing for a title. Shaq leaves L.A. to play with the Heat in 2005..Then in 2005 L.A. without Shaq crumbled, missed the playoffs, & in 2006 got put out in the first round. Now that shows you what a valuable player does for a team....and don't even say because Dallas had Dirk & some other guys. Because L.A. had Kobe, Odom, Butler(2006 all-star), Grant, & etc.

Does anyone know of any teams (all time) that were top 25 in either the AP Poll or the ESPN coaches poll after the conference tournament but was not invited to play in the NCAA?

My friend said that any ranked teams will make it regardless of their play in the conference tournament. I agree that this is true most of the time but pointed out that there is always the chance that a team won't get invited. He, being a giant, douche, told me he won't believe me unless i find proof.

I don't think it should. First 65 teams is already a lot. It would be expanded to 128 teams, and there aren't that many teams that can win. In fact no team ranked lower than #8 has won the tournament, a #8 seed has only won once and a #7 seed has never won.
If no #16 seed has ever even won a game, whats the point of adding more teams?

Steve Nash is waaay OVERRATED! Without Marion he sucks & his stats are average.

Nash without Marion:
2003, 17.7 ppg--7.3 apg--46.5 fg%
2004, 14.5 ppg--8.8 apg--47.0 fg%
NOW, 19.1 ppg--11.7 apg--53.3 fg%
See my point, his numbers are average without Marion. His points shot up, his ASSIST SHOT UP, & his fg% shot up. If it wasn't for Marion's ability to score, Nash's assist would be like it was in Dallas, and if it wasn't for Marion & Amare drawing double teams, Nash would average less points & his fg% would be down. Them guys drawing double teams opens Nash up for shots. Nash never averaged a double double in his entire career until he played with Marion. So that means Marion makes Nash better.........and saying what was The Suns without Nash isn't a legit point. Because we haven't seen Nash play without Marion for a entire season. If he plays witout Marion and still do good, then that'll be a legit point. Nash to the Suns is what Rasheed is to the Pistons. Just A KEY player.

This is the second time that Kobe has been suspended for flailing his arm after taking a shot. Does he really think he can get away with such a blatant foul by saying it's part of his shot? What a punk. No class

I may have missed this question somewhere but, Who else thinks Dwayne Wade is a total pansy? I have never seen an athlete with a shoulder injury cry like that. Emmitt Smith played football with a broken shoulder and no one saw him crying on the sidelines or being carted off in a wheelchair. Is Wade too soft or what?

First it was Manu and now it's Marko Jaric. What's the deal with Kobe slapping these white guys around and getting suspended!? Is it like a natural reaction after his shot or something? You would think that he'd alter his shot if he's going to get suspended each time! I can't believe they call Bruce Bowen dirty when Kobe is doing this!

To clarify this a historic winning percentage. For example the Gators have a 30-84 record against the Wildcats. They also have to have played at least ten games. I remember hearing it while watching a Gator game, and I believe it was a school in Texas. Oh and if anyone wants to answer two questions, what's the longest winning streak against them? UF has a 6 game streak going right now.

I mean people keep on saying the pistons will win the east but i don't see it happening. They have webber and the rest of the detroy crew and they are very healthy but went on to lose to Miami without Wade and to Golden state warior without Steven at home. Now tell me will a team like that represent the talented East in the finals? come on we are better than that!

if I believe what I hear and have seen in the media, Ron Artest has a checkered past when it comes to violent behavior. so this may be a bad example to pick. and I have no idea what really happened the other night when he was arrested. but my question/concern is this. in these situations all a woman has to say is she was pushed or slapped and the guy is going to jail, weather they did it or not, and women know this. I have no doubt that in any domestic violence situation the 2 parties should be separated. but it seems to me both are involved and culpable. how can blame and consequence be placed on just one? shouldn't both spend the night in jail? if you take away the stereotypical views of domestic violence (men are physically stronger, women need to be protected) why is it that authorities should cater to the women involved? because in my mind, i have no doubt, that IN MOST CASES they are just as guilty of some sort of mental, emotional, or physical violence.
