the playoffs are totally different....they play the same team over a preiod of time with soem rest in between.
the pistons may have lost games they shouldnt, but name a team that hasnt!!!!
pistons have excellent players who know their roles within the team. they have clutch shooters and defensive stoppers. if Rasheed keeps his head on tight they will definiately make a play for a finals run

The east is horrible compared to the west. All the major contenders have huge flaws.
Miami was an early favorite but they're playing .500 ball without wade and with an aging roster. Shaq is showing signs of life but there is no way the wade-less heat could get past the eastern conference.
Washington is ok. Jamison, Butler, and Arenas make for a great trio of players but they cant play any D.
Cleveland is completely a one man show unless if larry hughes decides that he wants to make a difference.
The pistons are inconsistent. With all their talent, they still cant string together a winning streak.
I think the bulls have the best chance. Ben Gordan, Kirk Hinrich, Luol Deng, and Ben Wallace might give the chicago faithful light.
However, it doesn't matter who wins the east. The eastern champs will be slaughtered by the mavericks in 4 games.

In a 7 game series, they can still win in the east as long as Wade isn't with Miami. Miamis only chance is if Eddie Jones has a flashback of himself from about 7 years ago. Maybe the Wizards, but they just can't guard anybody, Cleveland is a one man show, and nobody else even comes close.

Those were just games, but in a 7 game series, no team in the East can even come close. The only team I see eliminating them is the Miami Heat if D Wade is back.
