My all time favourite player is Larry Bird.
My all time favourite team is the Boston Celtics.
I liked Bird because of his work ethic and how fierce he is as a competitor. You can never really hate this man. Even those people (e.g. Lakers fans) who hated him before would admit that there is something honestly likeable in him.
I liked the Boston Celtics because of it's historic championships won. And of course, because Bird was a part of it.
Right now, I like Kobe Bryant as a basketball athlete. He is simply real good. However, I'm afraid I don't admire him as a person.
I like the Lakers at this time.
