Well, Dirk doesnt have a sneaker deal with Nike so he cant be in the commercial.

Dirk is with Nike, he may not have is own line of shoe yet, but he is under contract with them.
The reason he is not in the commercial is because he said in an interview that he was in Germany the day before the shoot honoring a prior commitment and wasn't able to fly back in time due to the flight would've been 12 hours long.

He needs a shoe line. he was under Nike contract but no shoe. It was a shoe commercial wasn't it.
