Did you see last night game kobe cant be doing everything all the time, his teamates cant play. They shouldnt rely on kobe all the time then people say he is a ball hog but if he passes it his teamates dont convert on open shots.

Kobe has an all star in Lemar Odom.

Kobe could probably do with another budding All Star...someone just on th eoutside of being an all star. too many superstar players can affect the team, especially within the coachs game plan. the lakers dont play like the suns and therefore cant have too many super stars.

surrounding Kobe and Lemar with good role players and one on the outside of being an all star could be what is needed to make this team even better.

lets remember, the team is Kobe's. i think if u add someone u will threaten to take that away from him, his game and attitude will change. right now, hes doing well...leading this team like a true leader

I agree, they really need to get rid of Lamar Odom for a superstar who knows the meaning of "teamwork" and get the job done for the team. This guy acts he like wants nothing to do with the team anymore and that is why the Lakers are such a slump right now. When one of players like Odom don't want to help play as a team to win games, then they should go to another team. It will be Odom's fault if the Lakers do not make it to the playoffs this year, just like what happened back in 2005.

I don't think the Lakers need another All-Star, what they need is better role players. They already have an All-Star in Lamar Odom. What they need is a Shane Battier type of player who can defend and shoot, it will help them gaurd players such as, Josh Howard, Shawn Marion, etc. They also need a PG, like a Deron Williams type, who can pass and shoot and gaurd as well and who is consistent. If they can get these type of players in the offseason, through Free-Agency, they should be able to push for the second round of the playoffs.
But as if right now, signing Scottie Pippen would help them out since they need players due to injuries.

True, because ha has not a real complementary player like other teams in the league do, Kobe is not a ball hog, he is just the best player on a team that most people pay attention to.

Yes the Lakers are in need of another all-star. However for now they will have to deal with who they have on the roster. Bynum is doing better but they all need to step up...and Lamar is out with a season ending shoulder injury so yep the lakers are in need of some serious help. Hopefully they can get an instance impact player from the draft...however I do doubt that they will.

Part of being a team's player is trusting your teammates more than yourself. If Kobe passes the ball and runs to go grab the offensive rebound then he does not trust his teammates. The lakers do not need another all star, Kobe should make his teammates all stars. He should watch a lot of Nash's tapes and learn from it.

Telling by how the Lakers perform, they need it. That's why Lawrence Frank of the NJ Nets wanted to trade Jason Kidd to the Lakers, but it doesn't look like that will happen.

Yup, I saw it and it made me mad cuz the Wolves need to lose to get more ping pong balls in the draft to give KG some help.
