Idiots, he means who is the best player not named on the list. I would have to say Jeff Green from Georgetown is good enough to be on that list. Another player not named that should be on that list is Sean Singletary out of UVA.

I think Kevin Durant has been the best player in college this year. His ability to do everything on the court sets him apart from the others, and his stats are simply unbelievable. Also, he's made Texas a legitimate contender for the Final Four. Without Durant, Texas would probably not even make the tournament.

That said, if Oden leaves school, he will still be drafted ahead of Durant. You can't teach seven feet tall.

Alando Tucker...Durant is a great player and will be much more effective in the NBA than Tucker will be, but Tucker is the best College Basketball Player. Tucker has put the team on his shoulders and taken them to the top of the rankings all year...Durant has yet to crack the top 10. Durant is the only player on that Texas team, so he has to do everything or else they wouldn't be where they are. Tucker knows how to play team basketball, and when to take over a game down the stretch to bring home the W

I think it's a 4-way toss-up, I know it really doesnt help...

Acie Law, outstanding leader, is a great guard, and single-handedly carries the Aggies

Tyler Hansborough, one of the best centers in the nation if not the best. North Carolina would be nothing without him.

Zabian Dowdell (spelling?) (Virginia Tech), great shooter and passer and has led his team to a #3 seed in the tough ACC Conference. (I'm not sure if they are 2 or 3, I think 3)

Nick Fazekas (Nevada), averages a double-double and is the best player on the best mid-major team. Nevada is 27-3 and probably would be like 15-15 without Fazekas

I guess if I had to pick, It would be Acie Law. A lot of talent and a great leader. (I didn't put Durant in the mix because Texas would still be good without him cause they still have Augustine and Abrams. I think in order to be the best you have to be extremely valuable to your team. Durant isn't as valuabe as the guys above.)

al horford is a good player, ut nowhere near the best.

it has to be between durant and law........with durant getting the edge because of his unreal ability and size. however, no one can touch law as far as being a clutch player, which may be the most important part of the game (having a go to guy that will win games for you at the end)

durant's numbers cant be disputed and may never be replicated in the college game

best offensive player is chris lofton. this guy buried a shot from 30-35 feet with durant in his face earlier this year to go up by one at the end of the game. although acie law did the same thing from closer up to tie it right at the end.

next year, chris lofton will be the player of the year, but this year it is durant, with law being a close second

Kevin Durant hands down. How many other freshmen have had as many 30 point games as he has this year. I am a KU fan and he had a phenomenal first half (25 points).

Acie Law is fantastic too.

As far as pure talent I would say Durant.

Durant. Enough Said. The only bad thing is he won't be the number 1 pick of the draft. To many teams need the big center in oden. Durant is the complete player that every coach dreams off.

I'm partial, but I'm going with Tyler , that big, beautiful Tarheel!! I love the heart he brings to every game, He plays hard and clean. He is also a modest, well mannered young man, proud of his small town upbringing, and remains true to himself. He has a soft touch, a beautiful hook shot, and even dribbles the ball well for a big man. He's a pleasure to watch. Right now, he must be nursing a very sore nose from Saturday's game with Duke! Poor baby!

kevin durant, he's a sensational talent who can score from anywhere on the floor and is a rebounding machine as well...teams know that he's the guy they have to stop, and yet they still can't because of his ability both in the post and on the perimeter, he's just such a versatile kid and has proven himself close to impossible to stop
