I never played high school ball and Im not in good shape. If you are that good could you just walk on?? im still young at 19 but Im only 6 feet tall. I never really "practiced" when I was I kid I would just shoot around which explains why I was just a mediocre player. I can finally dribble decent with my off hand layup etc... Im going to start plyometrics to increase my jump because thats something Ive never been able to do well. I wouldnt mind starting but I could careless if I just rode the bench making 500+ grand a year. I will dribble this ball everyday with both hands until they hurt and make sure Im raining every shot midrange or 3, my vertical will be twice what it is now, and Ill bust my @55 on Defense. NBA players are just people too its just how hard you work right??????//

With everyone making a big deal about an ex player coming out, why should it matter? Do people really care about sexual orientation when it comes to sports? He isn't hurting anyone else, he's not doing drugs, he's not cheating on his taxes, but it is a huge deal.

Are we as a society so intolerant that this is such a problem?

Why is it that NBA - Milwaukee Bucks Guard Michael Redd wasn't named to the allstar team even though he's sixth in the leaugue in scoring. 27.7 points per game. He made the team before averageing 22 points per game.... Even though he's injured it happens all the time where a player who is injured is named to the team then replaced. EX... Yao Ming - Carlos Boozer ........ ?????????????????????

We were thinking about putting together a contest for our customers here. We'd do a bracket for the NCAA tournament. Whoever wins gets a prize.

Anyway, is this legal? I emailed the NCAA last year and got no response.

Are there any cities in the NBA that really do not deserve to keep their team? All of the teams seem to be doing very well at the box office, so the fan support is definitely there in each market. If I had to choose, I would have to say Seattle; they're embroiled in an arena controversy of their own.

However, if there was a team out there that's looking to relocate; three cities which would instantly contend would be Kansas City, Oklahoma City and maybe Las Vegas. We'll know more about Vegas after the All-Star Weekend is finished and the NBA gives their reviews. However, I think Las Vegas if it is going to get an NBA franchise either through expansion or relocation, the city would have to replace the Thomas and Mack Center for a new arena with all the bells and whistles.

Here are the players:
Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_NBA_All-Star_Game to see the all-star game and rookie challenge rosters.

3-point contest: Gilbert Arenas, Damon Jones, Jason Kapono, Mike Miller, Dirk Nowitzki, and Jason Terry.

Dunk Contest: Gerald Green, Dwight Howard, Nate Robinson, and Tyrus Thomas

Playstation skills challenge:Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Steve Nash (injured, I don't know who will replace him), and Dwyane Wade.

Shooting Stars is when an NBA player, a WNBA player, and a retired legend, all from the same city, compete in an overall skills competition as a team. Here are the teams:

Ben Gordon, Candice Dupree, and Scottie Pippen from Chicago,
Chauncey Billups, Swin Cash, and Bill Laimbeer from Detroit,
Lamar Odom, Temeka Johnson, and Michael Cooper from LA
Tony Parker, Kendra Wecker, and George Gervin from SA

These are all the things that happen at the All-Star game. Who will win them?

I heard Prince beat Karl Malone 1-0n-1 in basketball, and as a result Karl Malone had to get Prince's face tattooed on his leg.

The great debate: Oden or Durant? People are always saying that you have to take Oden because good centers are rare but sometimes bigger is not necessarily better. It's like the old Olajuwon or Jordan question. You won't feel bad about having olajuwon but you would rather have jordan. They won't regret getting him, but they might regret it in the sense that "wow we won two championships when we could have won five or six"
