I am a Basketball player and I always just get out and play. Without any stretching or warm ups. I find that my performance without stretching is worse than when we have to stretch, at school.

What are the good stretches and warm ups for Basketball strength, agility, endurance, etc.?

I never wanted Starks to be traded out of New York he deserved to finish his career with the Knicks. After he retired i thought for sure the Knicks would retire his number not because of his numbers but because of the heart he displayed whenever he took the court. In my oppinion he is one of the greatest Knicks ever... Knicks should have retired his number..what do you think?

Here's the best demostration you can get. They both had to face the Detriot Pistons superior defense THREW OUT A SERIES(not 1 game). Who performed better? That's the answer:
Kobe: at age 25, 04 NBA Finals, 8th year in the NBA, Coach Phil, Kobe stats v.s. Detroit
22.6 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 4.4 asp 38.1 FG%, .174 3p%, 3.60 TO/ Detroit wins 4-1,
Wade: at age 23, 05 East Finals, 2nd year rookie, Coach Stan, Wade stats v.s. Detroit
25.8 ppg, 4.50 rpg, 4.3 asp, 44.0 FG%, .00 3p% 2.83% TO / Detroit wins 4-3,
Wade: at age 24, 06 East Finals, 3rd year in the NBA, Coach Riley, Wade stats v.s. Detroit
26.7 ppg, 5.20 rpg, 5.5 asp, 61.7 FG%, .250 3p%, 4.67% TO / Heat wins 6-2,
Kobe had a better coach & overall team, he had a younger Shaq & Gary, he was 25, he had more nba experience(8th year), but as you can see, Wade had a better series. Wade #'s were higher but he played with an injury(05) & flu(06). Detroit even said Wade was the hardest player they've faced, but easily stopping Kobe(38.1 FG%)

So when the Heat were a ton of games under .500, Shaq and Wade were hurt, and the team was about to hit rock bottom, Riley goes off to have his hip surgery. Shaq's back, Wade's back, the team is almost at .500 and in the thick of the muddled Eastern Conference playoff race. Conveniently, Riley says he's ready to come back. What do you think of this...especially after how everything went down after the Stan Van Gundy resignation?

If you had to choose one who would it be? And do you think either can still dunk?

2007-02-13 06:42:51 · 11 answers · asked by e DOUBLE 2

I believe so, because they are better now that last year. Even in games they end up losing, they still never quit fighting. I think they have a lot of talent and promise on their team. They have a great core of players in Eddy Curry, David Lee, and Jamal Crawford, they just have coalesce a bit more, and quit turning the ball over so much. There have been a lot of people talking bad about the Knicks, but I believe this team is on it's way to being a top contender. In two more years, the Knicks will be great again. Isiah gets a bad rap, but he's actually gotten his players to believe in themselves again, and that's crucial to success. I can see it in Marbury and Curry for example, they are believing in themselves, and David Lee is just fantastic, that kid is amazing.
