Former Indiana Hoosier Quinn Buckner was the senior captain on college basketball's last unbeaten team. The 1976 Hoosiers, who went 32-0, gave Bob Knight his first national championship, beating Michigan 86-68 in the finals in Philadelphia.

UNLV went undefeated in 1990 or 1991, but lost to Duke in the NCAA tournament.
