i think it is because if he wasn't such a ball hog and would give more assists, Odom would be a big target which would lead to more points which would lead to him playing to his potential which is a really good player.

I watched Odom play in high school, it was evident then that he wasn't going to be a player that could take a team to another level. He would literally chuck up shots from 35+ feet out in opposing gyms when behind. His talent was undeniably next level even back then, but something just wasn't right with him, his basketball IQ lags far behind his abilities. Lamar was messed up way before Kobe, if Odom was gonna figure it out he'd have done it already.

No, Lamar just needs to continue and play "Lamar Odom basketball". He's been injuried most of the season. I wouldn't say that Kobe helped or hurt his game. I think they're great together.

its not kobe's fault...it's odom's own fault. he's supposed to be one of the top 10 players in the league by now. hell, kenny smith even gave him the moniker 'the goods' when he arrived. but lamar's dumb **** is the one who got caught with weed and cried after admitting to it.

he should be the go to guy and #1 player on his own team. but he seems to underachieve and is now relegated to being robin to kobe's batman.

No, Kobe is passing more than he did last year. Lamar hasn't gotten back into game shape and he hasn't been as aggressive as he was before he got injured.

Not this year. Odom is just rounding into shape after coming back from injury.

No Kobe needs to start ball hogging a little bit so the lakers can start winning some more games.

its phil's fault coz he is not setting plays for odom... or maybe its kobe's coz he is still shadowing all of the other players, or maybe smush coz he doesnt give him the ball... oh, its gotta be the staples court, so bright and yellow!!.... or maybe its a conspiracy concocted by stern and group..... bottomline its odom's fault, cant do it before, cant do it now

I have hated Kobe for a long time but this year i have to give him credit, he is being a team player this year. So no i dont blame Kobe.

Well it was the same for Jordan and Pippen. When Jordan went down from an injury he carried the Bulls to the Playoffs and I'f I remember right he was in the race of MVP. You can't really blame Kobe since he's their number one option.
