hello dude, i used to be in a an identical siuation as you. im approximately 6'zero and white as heck however i will be able to dunk. alot of it's ordinary potential, all that speedy twitch muscle stuff however there are nonetheless matters you'll be able to do. in case your inclined to position within the paintings i reccomend plyometrics as an alternative of jumprope (jumprope isnt going to make you soar greater, itll simply make you healthier) ONE MAJOR IMPORTANT NOTE THOUGH: your frame wont be equipped to leap greater until it thinks it has too, this means that for those who hold leaping across the equal top you're now, regardless of how usually you do it you wont soar any greater. you must hold pushing your self little by little and you'll be able to observe difference, it wont occur over night time regardless that. its as useful as getting out what you installed. One final factor, attempt to determine in case your a leaper or a jumper (i do know that sounds dull) however i leaper is a lot more robust with a run up and utilising their higher frame to attain momentum into the soar. in which as a leaper is extra robust off a 2 foot soar utilising their cut down frame as momentum, this must aid you think about what to paintings on. Iknow it is a overdue reply however i promise you i do know what im speakme approximately. first-rate of success leader!

if you wear weights around your ankles and jump it will hurt your knees. the impact of hitting ground with more weight will weaken your knee joints. the best way is to do sprints and run up hills. most of you jumping ability comes from your glutes. work out your shoulders and upper body cause the motion of you raising your arms also helps out.
